not replace ,towers and archers will be a nice touch afterall if people have dawnguard installed it might not be a bad idea for a wall around the village with a magical barrier to prevent vampire attacks on the inside boy will take some time for them to kill kitty might last 10-11 attacks guards might 30-31 attacks leaving only the dragon last alot longer but some people me being one of them has asked me because they cant access steam can you make it stronger with an update and place a download link on youtube.co.uk/downloads/skyrim-elder-scrolls-V/cities oh by the way that url is for you to use no-one has used it yet

@assasinscreedrogue007: I have neglected this mod for a while, working on various other mods. Dov-Rha means 'dragon', but for me it relates to the Dovahkiin, the Dragonborn, the slayer of dragons. I'm not really in for a wall, as the guards, Boy, Kitty and the dragon are very well capable of guarding the area. A black and gold armour is a nice idea since I have recently learned to mess about with nif-files, meshes and textures, but I'm still not very good at it, so it may take a while. As for your other suggestions, I will think about it, but I have no intend to replace the palace by a Dawnguard fort type.

perhaps change the amount of guards to even more and perhaps have a wall securing the entire area change guard armour sets to a black and gold afterall dont want the guards being mistaken for whiterun troops also i had the idea could make it work for a (become high king of skyrim mod) besides could do with adding more 4-5 dragons and making work with (100 small dragons mod) i dont quite see how it be called dov-ra retreat not enough dragons or its own unique characteristics (mentioned before guards,dragons and perhaps make at a fort type place like fort dawnguard) i now i am a bit critical but i think everyone will think its better as well

@emmaculbert25: That's one of the parts that still needs some work. Updating on Steam may be a problem, so I will most likely upload updates on my personal website.

This looks like a great mod. However, it's glitchy and not finished so I'll favorite it for now. I'll consider subscribing when you get the bugs fixed and finish the mod. Great work so far....Keep going!

Also I have noticed that alot of mods end up being abandoned by the authors. I think people get hold of the Creation Kit and make big plans for their mods and then either can't live up to those plans because of time constraints, or are simply limited by their knowledge of the Creation Kit. Either way we all suffer. Its disappointing and unfortunate!

These houses are not saved for special content. It's just my mistake. You are the first to have noticed it! I will correct this mistake in the next update (with some extra houses).

@altbert i know there privite homes but there locked with key locks that cant be picked most of the locks not counting player homes are able to be picked are you saveing these house for some content thing?

@kincaderichards02: It's correct that some of the walls (but also floor pieces) are off balance, because the wall and floor objects that should fit in those places just don't exist in the CK (or I can't find them). Some of the buildings are indeed locked as these are considered private homes.

The number of mods should be no problem if load order is correct and there are no conflicts between mods. Use Wrye Bash and/or LOOT to find correct load order or conflicts. I also use TES5Edit to pinpoint the conflict(s) between plugins and masters.

try and add a stable if you can i've noticed most player houses do not have one. It would be a grat edition to the house as well as very benificial. Maybe even add a stable caretaker and a house for him in the villiage overall i like the mod. keep up the good work

@cholmes: If you have found Redoran's Retreat (walk from Fort Greymoor towards Dustman's Cairn) you will be right in the middle of the village.

Really love where your going with mod and love what your've done so far, and for certian others, modder's are not here to cater to our every whim and have a life of their own, so will take time to fully complete what your doing on this, from the way you've mentioned future plans tho some tend to forget that, keep going , will add to favourites to keep track

@ Attbert....I would think for a PK to get as far as your Journal and the Mods description woukd be enough of a quest indeed...Especially if Our "Friend" is involved ( who is that masked man)......None of the palace would appear if the DB didnt take part. My PC has LONG finihed the main quest, Killed Ulfric and ended the Civil war, DESTROYED BOTH the Thieves and assassins gulds and is now semi retired in lakeview manor. Being a Drachis Argonian he likes the isolation and keeps his Family there away from as many hairy faced no tails Nords as possible. Harkon was just another fly that needed to be swatted ( and squashed) and Miraak soon learned the Power of this DB's Thu'um and Now serves him....what I've seen here is good but I havent made up my ( his) mind yet.

@Gol Zin: I am certainly not forgetting this mod (and "Floating Island of Legends"), but I am still learning about creating quests. As I haven't created any quests before, and it has quite a steep learning curve, it will possibly take some time before new updates.

@Attbert....Ive seen a LOT of mods like this one with many brave plans and promises only to see them stagnate and fall short hopefully this mode wont go that way and end up deleted and forgotten....I look forward to seeing this mod.

No worries, I appreciate it! I am still learning how to make quest, as I have never done that before, but they are in the make. Portals to fortresses may be a nice idea. The are five in total, but only two lead to Sovngarde and Skuldafn.

If the guards were to use dragon armor and weapons that would be a plus considering this is a place for the dovah. I was kinda bumbed when I found out that the place is in a low point on the map rather than up on a tall mountain (considering this is a dragon keep and village). So, maybe this comment may fuel your imagination juices flowing and make portals to fortresses in/ on the various mountains? maybe have some quests and even make a series of places that need rebuilt? I apologize for rambling but I am a dreamer and I tend to dream BIG but I digress.

If you want i can message you to continue on with this rambling if you intend to actually use my idea for your own. I just want to help you be successful! lol

No, they certainly do not come alive! But, sometimes they will become replaced. To my regret, there's nothing I can do about it, and I have done everything I can do. It may be creepy, but at least they won't attack you.
