It's a good idea, but i don't really like the heatlance. :/ It feels too much like a blowtorch. I'm thinking I'll have to make the flamethrower fire projectiles that look like flames, but only start burning things when the hit an object and "explode" as it were.

Hey, maybe you could base the pyro's flamethrowing off the heatlance? That could help reduce the lag? I don't know, I'm not a mod maker

I've disabled the pyro and flamethrower because they lag waaaay too much. When I find a way to reduce the lag I'll pu them back in.

how about a captain. he isn't very strong alone but can take a medium amount of bullets to him. but he IS preperd for escape.

Probably. CC is pretty slack at updating mods from what I've seen. Just go into your cortex command folder and delete SPF.rte to force the game to redownload it.

The campaign CTD bug should be fixed. Turns out the games doesn't like shileds in the campaign loadouts.

you should make a claptrap (borderlands) robot kinda as a dummy with low cost and hp and skill but used by the pirates as a easy force to make

This truly is the most creative, fun to play, diverse and amazing mod I know for Cortex Command. (and then I'm talking about the whole Pirates package!)

All factions are awesome, I love how the red and blue factions seem superior at times, but no match for a Privateer player if he knows what he's doing. :)

I think I've finished dozens of campaigns with all three factions against each other, it keeps amazing me! Do you accept donations?

Kudos to you, Major. This is awesome. Any chance of a full Ultor Aerospace Systems tech faction? I mean, you have 3 factions that use old UA junk and one UA subsidiary (which, by the way, is another good one) so with only a little retexture and re-code, you could make a full faction!

I meant to jetpack up in buildings to get up to platforms instead of being stuck on the gorund with no stairs. This is a problem for me while playing in scenario maps.

@Morelmpavid, that's not a bug so much as not letting you jetpack around like Superm
an while in plate armour and toting around a bunch of heavy artillery.

on most of the infantry that i buy from "bodies" section at spawn screen, they come iwth their own weapons. and so when i try to make them jump(jetpack) they cant go so high;or theyre just really really slow

Good all rounds faction, not too weak but not too strong either. Similar to the Ronin faction. It is a good idea to bring a grenade/launcher for blind corners and bombarding, as they will generally get destroyed one-one-one (unless it is an Ohklar, which can only be killed by a direct hit by an RPC), but in numbers they excel very well. Nothing is really missing, all though for some reason it still feels lacking. Maybe some salvaged-looking mechs/drones/robots?

I've only had one problem with the Dropship since the release, but other than that, I love the almost hidden engines. It's very tanky.

I could have sworn that dropship was disabled in release, as you can probably see, it ain't finished. XD The underslung grenade launchers have are used by selecting grenade launcher in the pie menu, and switched back by selecting assault rifle mode. I can't really change the spawn rate of the Ohklar unfortunately, but if you play the Pirate assault activity the spwanrates are preprogrammed and work better. Cheers guys.

They're a bit TOO powerful TBH. Every faction I use, I cannot defeat them. I have to do things like drop a high explosive bomb on the head of one of those blue people just to kill them. The AI spawns the blue people way too frequently. Before I'm even ready to chrage, I see myself surrounded by two blue people, that might aswell be walking tanks they're that damage resistant!

Oh my god, that dropship is horrific. I tried to use it. For starters it for some reason decided it didn't want to descend, and then it decided it wanted to rock back and forth at a slowly accelerating rate, eventually causing it to fall on one of my units and crush them, and then flip over to the right and explode.
