Doesnt load up even after clicking on it in MOD section in the game

A wonderful map, but I would like to clarify one point. When I load it in GM mode, there is a fog of war everywhere, which does not allow me to properly correct the necessary details. how to remove fog of war in GM mode?

@Dex4 Thx for the feedback. The pak file you download from the workshop contains only the files for the game but not for the editor. If you want to change something in the engine yourself, you would need all files.

Absolutely fantastic maps. I'm trying to create a GM campaign for my friends with it. I wanted to cut out a piece of it in the Divinity Engine, but loading up the map throws a lot of errors (serializer is too new) and also the terrain is missing. It just loads up the level without terrain. If i create my own project and copy over the map, this problem still occurs, but if i then load up a scene ingame with the copied map in my project, it loads up perfectly without issues. Do you get any errors with the editor too when you load up your maps?

@Deekay ' - This is a map for the gm mode and travel is done by the gamemaster..If you thought this is a map for the main capaign I'm sorry its not.

@Vettis I don't know how the other mod did it, but I just wrote my own scripts and tried if they work. So nothing special.

how did you get some of the NPC's to travel around the village? I have only ever found a mod that works sometimes, and not really as intended.

Love the map! The amount of time and effort that must have gone into this is insane.

Question: I notice there are a few connection points (eg doors) that do not currently work as intended. Any chance there is an updated version that fixes these? Thanks again.

That could certainly be the reason. I have unfortunately only a pc with 32 gb and a notebook with 16 gb and on both no problems. I'll see if I can find a way to optimize the whole thing for 8gb.

i think it might be a low memory issue :(? idk all the other games play fine i have 8 gigs of ram? could that be it :(?

@Epyon did you wait some minutes? I think your lags are related to the lightprobe rendering which happens by creating the map for the first time. After this your perfomance should be fine. I tested it on a machine with GTX 1060 and for me its working fine after some minutes.

Hello! so far love the map but I am having some trouble moving through the inter connected dungeons. Some doors work and some don't, I am honestly Confused on whats going on would love some Insight cause I am lost.

This is by far the most detailed map I've encountered. Well done! And of course, thank you. I lost 250 hours of progress due to my incompetence of not backing up before reinstalling steam, but this has made me more than happy since you're obviously way more gifted than I ever would be, bless you! This map has tremendous possibilities when it comes to creative storytelling, so I'll be running a new GM campaign in no time!

You mabe have this problems:

IN GM mod there is settings on right side (gear button) where you must add mod before loading.
Look for "Island" in search of maps in list.
Try to delete all mods and download them again (also check in steam_folder/steamapp/workshop and search for .pak files, copy them in /dockuments/LarianStudios/Divi.....sin 2 Definite Edition/Mods)

I pushed subscribe button on this mode, I switched on thos mode into the game, but I can't see your levels in GM mode, I can't add scene with your map in my company becase I didn't see it in my levels list. I think if you press the reset button in the atmosphere panel you should get back to the origin atmosphere. maybe you have to switch first to a different region. I tested it it currently and for me it works fine.

Currently no. Some doors do not have a connection at the moment because I am still working on the corresponding dungeons.

The difference between the history and complete map is that the history map is a remnant from an old mod and unfortunately has some strange bugs that I could only fix by creating a new map. I would recommend you to use the complete map as I will remove the other one in one of the next updates.

Great work, love everything you have made. I have a few questions:

Is there anyway to reset the lighting? I used the Mood Panel during a session and it ruined a lot of the mood and atmosphere in other parts of the level, even returning it to the original lighting did not help (I believe it was dusk).

Are all of the doors supposed to work? Some portions of the map seem inaccessible or the door out will work but not the door in, etc.

What are the differences between history and complete versions?

@Dragon Unity which map did you try? Only the map history and Small_Village_Complete (which comes now with an update have connected dungeons. The other maps are designed to be used independently of each other

Hi @J-ism. This is a GameMaster Map, not for the Storycampaign. So you need to create a GameMaster Lobby (either Create a new Campaing, or edit one), and then add the map via the overworld layout.
