Hey guys, in the Huey Pack 2 is a Huey that has little red wings on the back. Is it allowed to put the file in the server mod pack to change the color to olive original?

I used to crew chief these things; UH-1H in Desert Storm with the 4-159 Avn Rgt (~720) and a UH-1N w/ the 229th Medical Det at Ft Drum (~762)

Hi, Hello may I suggest adding the M60 MG on the sides of the chopper near the doors ? it's more accurate to the vietnam conflict this way, for future anniversary updates maybe? thanks in advance

hey i found a bug where if you attempt to turn on the "mirror" setting while in the pylons menu it crashes your game, no error or anything just click, freeze, crash

Any chance of seeing the M197 pr the spotlight guns added to the UH-1N? My unit rides and dies by the twin engine but our air support wing is gimped by the UH-1 engine.

hi Grumpy is it somehow possible that you can adjust the aim room for the doorguns ? its a bit stupid that you cant aim directly downwards so the pilot need to stay 100m away from the target to fully cover the area

Grumpy I do not know if it's just me but the UH-1 Gunship Flex Searchlight for the M2HB .50 Caliber does not seem to rearm let alone have ammo at all for it.

Hey Grumpy. Doubt you'll see this but do you have any plans to update your other Huey pack or your Little Birds pack? I use them often but for some reason I can't use them together. The Littlebirds break the Huey pack as it removes the ammo from the Cobras

could we get a slight increase in crash tolerance? so far any landing that isn't perfectly soft damages the hull and engine, also makes it pretty challenging to autorotate without the chopper exploding as opposed to vanilla/cup
Also, can we expect to see the 40mm snub turret in the future?

You can use this on any server as long as it's not monetized.
The textures are from Arma 2. You will probably have to use the old textures to create new ones.
I don't really know that much about creating textures.

@Grumpy Rhino, hey, man. I dig your mod. Best 'Nam helicopters out there. Recently made a modified version of your huey textures to make them look more like the 1960-1967 versions (colored hull markings and text), and was wondering if you wanted me to send them to you to include in the pack.

Hey, this Mod ist more or less perfekt!
I'm a experienced simulator Pilot on the Augusta A109 and so I have experience to flying Helicopters. With this knowlegde I can tell: AWESOME, REALISTIC FLIGHT FEELING

Most excited I'm about the removed Arma HUD and implemented HUD and instrumentes in the First person View. maybe not so good for Pilots that need the speed and altitude in 3rd Person view, but a dream for expirienced first person flyers.

But now 2 - for me important question:
1. Is it allowed to use this helicopter on a non monetiazied Roleplay Server?
2. Are there UV maps aviable to re-texture this helicopter for use in Roleplay (e.g the german SAR 71 texture, or some non-miletrary skins for civilians)?

I know the missing HUD can be weird at first, but I believe it will result in a much more immersive experience once you get used to it.

Damage settings are very tricky(at least for me they are). Adding more armor to withstand an RPG could make the helicopters completely invulnerable to small arms fire.
For this project I'm aiming for a fragile helicopter as I have seen them described in documentaries.

I love this mod but choppers are too weak to combat. I know this is for reality. I mean choppers should stand one shot RPG like the other mods. One shot RPG -> Destroy chopper (X) , Destroy engine or tali rotor

@Jim Beam, its disigned that way, you will have to use the dash and center console for information (fuel, speed, ammo, what weapon you have selected), and grumpy put some warning lights (the stuff thats normaly on your hud) on the dash, so those are the white "fuel, eng,.." signs. you can see these warning indicators on the last picture above

Idk if anyone else reported this issue but everytime i fly one of these awesome huey's the gui for the weapons or fuel never shows up(on the top right corner and top left corner, respectively).

When changing pylon-weapon be careful about which seat your set the weapon for.
Weapon can be controlled by either the copilot(gunner) or the pilot.
Click on the the small symbol next to the weapon.

I love this mod and I've noticed something with it that could be looked at. Every now and again changing the pylons on the UH-1N V1 will prevent the pilot from firing the weapons entirely. I have no idea why though.

Do you allow usage on registered monetized Servers? If you're concerned about the Bohemia part, I contacted Bohemia about it a while back and was told Arma 2 Ports can be used freely on monetized servers as long as the creator of the Arma 3 Mod allowd for it
