I really loved this mod a lot. I do wish it can work with modded maps like China, Mongolia, Japan, and much more. I just try and hour trying to see if there is a chance it can work. It only works with vanilla maps so far.

It seems that either this mod or a combination of this mod with another one causes the Crete to stay as a duchy and have around 800 to 1000 courtiers.

I love playing with everyone starting out as a count.
But after extensive tests I have to say that the mod is completely superfluous. Since any feudal AI cannot capture a single other county. All the laps I've started to test so far are frozen. For some reason it is impossible for AI to expand and thus form duchies etc.
Seems the AI doesn't have enough gold to grow properly? Or all have the same troop strength why not attack each other, I have no idea.

@IWillEatYourA55 It's not a bug, I don't know why but the counts aren't that warmongering. There should be some wars though.

The mod worked as far as it was described which is nice considering the patch but i'm noticing that none of the counties are declaring war on eachother. It's been a bit over ten years in game and the map looks the same. Is it usually like this? Or is this a bug related to the new dlc?

Same thing here, game stuck at 24 march 867, no key on the UI responds. Once unlocked by itself with in-game menu ...

Oh, I did notice some weird government type assignments, like a bunch of feudal counties in central Africa even in the 867 start.

@BLADE I think it's the workshop, as you said the other Shattered World mod isn't downloading. I have played the mod for many hours and nothing has happened. I hope you find a solution to your problem.

Just tried this out since the other Shattered World mod isn't properly downloading on steam, and I had a few realms not shattered at all, or only partially shattered.

Fatimids were untouched and there were lots of duchy and kingdom title remains scattered around the place.

Not sure if I can also blame this on the workshop being a piece of crap and not properly downloading, or if it was some other reason.

@captain403 I agree with you, the other mod is obsolete with this one. De jure is meant as in the de jure counties of the game.

@thoped I am not sure why it is not working. I just ran CK3 with just this mod and it worked. Make sure you don't have any other mods or test the mods you want to use one by one.

This mod is is great. Kinda renders your other mod 'auto shattered world - counties' superfluous. This mod does the job better, as the other still has multi-county counts.

The only thing I would say need changing in the description is that the counties are de facto independent, not de jure. To be de jure, you would have to get rid of the historical duchies and force all duchies to be custom ones.

TY Roma, I started a new game just to try the mod out, Im now the owner of Sherwood forest = ) which is kind of awesome all by itself, but everyone around me also started with a single county, and its a blood fest as usual, but without someone else hogging everything from the start, which makes it alot more fun.

@ahnkra Yes, there are no empires, kingdoms, or duchies. The player also has to deal with succession, and eventually the AI will be able to get bigger and stay big with time.

So if I understand this mod correctly, every county is independent, so no Empires, Kingdoms, or Dutchies? Literally everyone (player and AI) has to build their own which means AI builders will suffer same penalties of having to have proper succession or watch their little kingdoms fall apart every time the current ruler dies? (dont get me wrong picking exactly where I want to start is a great selling point too, but the afore mentioned question would also bring me endless joy.)
