Hi Alex, I can't remember exactly what I tried, but I could not disable the mod without it crashing the game. Tbh, it might be something to do with my other mods, I also like to create my own mods of mods, so I wouldn't blame dexgattaca for my problem. I didn't really want to not have this mod, so in the end I created my own couple of mods; one for when the AI is using the Iron Hands which disables the production of the Iron Father, and another which reinstates him when I want to play as Iron Hands. It's not ideal, but it seems to work so far.

Paul59, did you try subscribing again, going to Extras>Mods and disabling the mod, then playing normally?

Has anyone figured out a solution to this "Awaken the Machine" AI crash (see Lord_Draconis post below)?

I have tried to unsubscribe to the mod, but the game then crashes on startup as the Iron Hands faction doesn't exist!

If the bot is playing for the Iron Hands faction, then at a certain moment a crash occurs. I found out that the hero of Iron Father was to blame. He's trying to use an action AwakenTheMachine called Keys of Hell. If you manually control the bot and use this ability, there will be no departure.

I really like this mod.

However, the "killshot" ability of predators doesn't seem to be working.
Also, I cannot seem to figure out the trigger for when units can or cannot get another cybernetic enhancement. Can anyone explain here and/or @author can you please add additional text to the tech description?

The Farsight mod from Dex is great too. I've had that running a while and not have problems.

Anyone getting crashes with this mod also? I have been getting some since adding it, but it might be one of the Timmeh skin mesh mods.

I really like this mod though. Love the faction, and the way this mod presents it. Not sure if it is this mod causing the crash, but will try it without a while to test.

When I activated calculated Fury for a second time the Chapter was completed. I guess I had to activate the 3 items after Chapter 5 started, previous activations don't count?

I am pretty sure that I have activated them all. Two of them are on cool down, so I must have used them? The other, Mercy is Weakness, I have had for a long time and I am sure I have used it at least once.

Paul59, you need to activate the Chapter Tactics as well as researching them. This highlights my below point that it would be useful to clarify in the Mission text that they need to be activated in addition to researching them.

Also, the last Mission 6 Path of Iron looks cool, but I feel it is going to be similar to Chapter 4 Blightlands where it takes a long time to clear.

I don't mean these comments to be too critical or negative, it's just I love the mod, and want to play it more often, but these missions drag in comparison to the other faction missions, so hope this feedback helps allign the Iron Hands campaign with the other campaigns.

Yes, I am getting the same problem with Chapter 5. I have researched all the required items, but the quest is not progressing.

The text on Chapter 5 Flesh is Weak is missing - It only says to research the tech item, and there is a question mark ( ? )showing in the text which should state Activate [the tech item]', as after activating the requested tech, the Mission completed.

Hopefully this is an easy fix. Would really appreciate it, as I'm really enjoying the mod, so would be good for the below changes to be made if possible, but either way, great work.

Really great mod concept and the model designs are excellent. It would be great to see the Iron Captain model available as a stand alone for the standard Space Marine faction. Maybe also freeing up the colour selection for Iron Hands so they don't always have to be black.

I'd really appreciate the Chapter 4 Blightlands being made less crowded though, as it ruins the pacing for me as it takes so long to clear all the waves. It slows the missions down. Is there any chance you could reduce the waves e.g. 3 Spawn points and heavily reduce the waves? 1 wave is enough and reducing the HP on the units. It reduces the explore element as you have to stay still for so long clearing them out.

The game crashes with an error on turn 54 when the enemy moves. The bot builds an Iron Father and after that the game crashes.

Its either this mod or Heroes of Legends, but the game keeps crashing when starting an mp game trying to play mp with ironhand enabled. but works on single player. doesnt crash if i host but crashes if i join and are not hosting.

Got a crash. Not sure why?

Pretty sure I narrowed it down to the Iron hands causing it (Used debug to kill them the turn before and no crash)

Considering the number of units they have in my game, narrowing down which would be a very long process.

In my match they are AI on a team with Mechanicus AI and killing their HQ (Thus eliminating them) seems to stop the crashing, as does killing all units (but leaving HQ)

That's right SynisterSyclone. Unfortunately me and Rok connected too late about these models. Honestly I didn't think I could pull them off. So a few of them will become obsolete after this Pack. Having extra option is never a bad thing for modding factions and I can always make them special in some way.

If Davian make the conversion I just might add it. He's been doing quite a few neat models I'd like to use. I personally have no plans to do something like that. Maybe I can give them to the Hel Fathers.

The version number is just arbitrary. Helps I usually bump it up by .1 after every content update.
No to White Scars. I leave the mod there hoping someone will resurrect it.
Im currently working on a Knights expansion for CSM. And will likely make knights for Imperials if it works well.

How big of an ask is it to give someone either a volkite, phosphex or radiation weapon? Maybe, even letting the hel termies raise some low hp cyber iron hands as fodder. I mean if we're turning the keys of hel, why not keep turning am I right ?!? lol

I have been getting a crash every time the Ironfather spawns on the field for both players and AI. the error reads:
