This is the boss. Coupled with a LUA code, added GPPP. This beast decimates with the large missile top attack.

No problem, sounds great! I'm excited to see what you end up making

Do you mind if this is used (with credit) in a CC?

slower than molasses, but it gets any job done.

Mimics and decorations. I've put a lot of time into hull shaping and I'm glad it paid off. If you want to make modern ships, I really recommend creating the slope at the bottom of the ship first and building forwards. I've made a tutorial on hull shaping in general, but it doesn't go in depth enough to explain mimic/decoration usage in hulls

How did you make that front section? Everytime i make a battleship, it looks like taking the hull from a ww1 dreadnaught and sticking the superstructure of a ww2 battleship on it.

This is Russian Planned Lider class nuclear destroyer. Russian navy should've bought FTD to materialize it :P

(Great work btw)

I also used to use a massive platform covered in pre-designed features and turrets for ships as well.

I recommend creating one thing really well once, and then reusing it. Although most of the large things such as masts are built for each ship differently, I often reuse cannons and deck features that I've spent time on.

Truly excellent stuff.. wish I had the same amount of patience to deal with the amount of mimics in the way you do.

The carrier isn't going to be included in the end, it just wasn't effective. I'm currently waiting on a plane design that someone else was going to submit and plan on making a new carrier at some point. Although some in game crafts use clipping, I think that using it on the jets was a bit too much (also this was made before I had plans for the campaign). I may go back and edit the planes, although I think new planes are needed anyway.
Derr Conductor 15 jan, 2021 @ 7:30
also shouldn't you change your jets on your carrier so they don't use spin block clipping

I thought about it, initially the ship had two attack choppers, but two of my more recent ships also used them and I didn't feel like creating a new one for this ship. The chopper I was planning on using can be found on my genesis and knave class ships and should already have most of the acbs needed on those ships to set this up.

you should give it a attack chopper
