There might be translation mods out there by others. I myself don't speak Chinese, so I can't add it myself. I don't even add support for my own language though (German), because I don't play the game in it. That means I'm not familiar with how things are phrased, what the official terms are, etc.

That means for every language I need someone else to provide translations, but I still need to coordinate also stuff like updating the translations whenever I make gameplay changes. In total, that's just too much work for me to handle, to be honest.

I've tried adding more languages in the past when I had someone helping me out who did the translations, but had to abandon it because the translations did not keep up with changed I made and therefore became outdated and wrong.

Hello, if your work is fully translated into Chinese (supporting multiple languages), I believe it will definitely increase the number of users. Personally, I really like your works, but after subscribing, I found that some works are not translated into Chinese, and some works are not fully translated into Chinese. This is very unfriendly to users who do not understand foreign languages and can also lead to the loss of many users. After subscribing, if it is found that there is no localization or incomplete localization, we can only regretfully cancel the subscription (because we cannot understand the text). I am not aware of any update in recent years having changed anything related to my mods. I myself do not get crashes and can still start games with my full playlist. Have you deactivated *all* other mods except this and had the issues persist?

Wish that this mod, along with other Urban Complexity and District Expansion mods, can be updated to the latest version of the game. After the Nov 2024 patch happened, I can no longer play Civ with crashes even while in Main Menu and only recently diagnosed that your mods causes the crashes.

I was hoping this would include a regional bonus of housing, increased for cities that lack other sources of fresh water. It would make sense for water reservoirs to provide fresh water for nearby cities.

I didn't fully understand the mechanism for generating Power. In my tests, only renewable water sources provided +1 Power after entering the Modern Era, while other sources had no effect (I specifically disabled all other mods for testing). Can you explain it in detail?

Hey, your mod seems to have a conflict with "C&P: Domestic Trade Bonuses". That mod allows you to chose between the granary or the brewery. If you choose the brewery you aren't able to make the granary and are then unable to build the orchard. Is it possible for you to allow the brewery to build the orchard? Thanks

@JNR - a quick question if you can help. I'm wanting to try out the "Leugi's Suez Canal Wonder" mod, which gives some bonuses for aqueducts in the description ; do you know if this will conflict with "Cistern" or is "aqueducts" more figurative than literal?

Nice to know it's possible, would there be a way to just stop the asset from spawning in that case?

Another random question, but would it be possible to chain aqueducts? Like having 2 in a row to get water in the 3rd ring.

Would be tricky but possible with some workarounds, but then the Watermill would just be on land, it wouldn't suddenly appear in the Aqueduct.

Is there a way you can allow Watermills to be unlocked if a city has an aqueduct/cistern? Mainly to balance out cities that aren't built next to rivers.

I have just learned that "Pizza Party" achievement does not work at this mod because when New York has a Cistern (Aqueduct) with a Sewer built as a Tier 2 building.

With what I believe to be this mod's changes to Civilizations Expanded's Aqueduct, it is now vastly inferior to Khmer's Baray. If the major adjacency bonus to all specialty districts could be returned instead of the change to a standard adjacency bonus, that'd be great!

Yes, it even has built-in compatibility. With both mods active, the icons are flipped so that the standard district gets the amphora icon and the Romans get the aqueduct icon.

None of the distract expansion mods work for me. I have enabled each one,one at a time and the game fails to create a new game each time. The only other mod I have is the cheat mod.

Yes, it crashes to desktop. I do have a lot of new assets added. It crashes even without all the other UC mods enabled and just this one though. When I get back from work I will post the error that I get.

Do you get a crash to desktop? If so, you're probably running into issues with the asset limit. If you get "failed to load" and get back to main menu, the logs should reveal the incompatibility.

Hello, thank you for all your hard work and wonderful content.
I'm not having any luck with this mod. Whenever it's enabled, my game crashes during the loading screen. It works fine once this is disabled. I used to be able to use this mod. I'm not sure what has changed. I have lots of other mods, but none that touch the aqueduct.

I love your work, it's made the game so much better. If I could offer a suggestion; Desalination Plants.

Essentially, add it as a late game building for this district which can only be added if the district is adjacent to ocean/coast (salt water only) or a salt-water wonder. It would allow the city to act as if it were on a river, but at a huge electricity cost. Optionally I've seen forum concepts where it provides Salt as a Bonus or Luxury resource.

A similar tile improvement variant might also work.

Additionally, a tile improvement that has to be within X tiles of ocean tiles that can use electricity to condense some water from the air, though that might only be useful for gold or food income.

hi, im using City Sprawl Graphics mod and have noticed that cistern and roman aqueducts don't produce city sprawl like the rest of the districts, i was wondering if that is by design or some kind of bug, thx

Volcanoes (hot springs) should give an adjacency to bathhouse. Maybe an amenity, or doesn't have a gold cost. I think this would be pretty balanced compared to the danger of building next to a volcano and the lost yield of the tile. I always shy away from using volcanoes as mountain adjacencies because of losing the tile.

Maybe an additional +1 science unlocked with geothermal plants to balance that volcanic soil tiles tend to appreciate in value as time goes on.

Yeah, I've been having this issue as well, spent one hell of a time going through all my mods trying to find why I suddenly can't play. Oddly enough it's only on my Win 10 PC not my Win 11 laptop.

that does sound like some DLC are not active then, because the mods require only DLC, no other mods. Do you have any mods other than the district expansions active?

Yeah I have all the DLC and no old mods were used. I enabled all of the district expansion mods, and the cistern one isn't working. The campus and theatre square expansions are also not working, but that's because the concert hall and library mods were marked "not compatible" for some reason.

Do you have all DLC and made sure that no mods were re-enabled by using an old saved config? I just tried loading a game with nothing but all district expansions and it worked fine.

Hi, for some reason, this specific mod isnt working with the other District Expansion mods. I disabled all mods I have outside of the Official Content and the Cistern was found to not work. Any suggestions?

Ok fixed. Also adjusted Orchards and Reservoirs, now they apply to all improvements with a Food bonus, including those from Wetlands and Bonus Resource Improvements such as Paddy Fields or Oasis Gardens.
