LOL i know thats why i stoped trying to keep up mods on TW warhammer 2, seemed every 2 weeks or every month a update came out and totaly wiped all data making me sift back threw the entire game file to A) redo what i had changed and B) figure out what they did to un-F their stuff from my stuff.

Guys, been away from Steam for a while - I'll have to look into what's needed to fix these.

I had spent some time fixing it for the last patch then a couple of days later CA broke all my mods again (why on earth they must update the game in such a way it's so unfriendly to modders i have no idea).

Once I find some resources on how to get it fixed up I'll start on these over the next week, apologies for the delay.

Correction, I have good news, I was able to use the mod manger to re arrange the load order, its a compatability issue between only your old legacy version and the radious mod/patch 12, but maybe if you update the legacy version with patch 12, I think everything will work fine. thanks

Thanks for your effort Mrmarko, after a fresh install and testing, I have nailed it down to a compatability issue with Radious' main rome 2 mod. Is this the same for you? For you is it radious mod compatible or no? thanks

The new DLC came out a day or two ago - it worked with patch 12.

This was last updated 14 Apr @ 6:02pm, so the changes must be the latest Rome 2 patch.

When I get time I'll check to see what's changed.

No, but I think it might have something to do with some Chariot Gladiators that I recruited. Is that in this mod?

My game stopped loading after I recruited some of the new units. Any idea why? It worked after I first recruited them, but I saved last night and tried to play today and get a crash upon loading.

I can't recall, the legacy version hasn't been touched for ages (as it was created so people can continue save games when the mod had to be split) - if you are no longer in a campaign just unsub from the old version & get the elite & hero packs.

Faced1111 - if it works with just this mod active, then it's going to be related to a different mod.

Princeps Mendez - I see no reason why it shouldn't be, I haven't touched the campaign tables or the startpos.

hmm my game wont work with this unit, it does when i dissable, it must conflict with one of the many random unit mods im guessing?

Holy crap... I have literally always thought about a Gladiator faction. It's awesome to know that someone else has the idea! You are by far one of my favorite modders now.

It's on my huge list of things to do :), eventually I want units for all factions - which will go into the 'Elite' part 1 of the mod.

Next up is some cavalry & more ranged - also want to experiment with a naval hero & perhaps an elephant.

But that's ontop of researching creating custom map (arena), gladiator faction, full custom models to make more unique heroes/units & a load of other things....

Hard to do with a job! :D

I've made a slight change to made them look that little better (as they are the emporers chosen) - they now have a praetorian of mars as the officer :), it's early days yet so will consider changing, but feedback will be good.

I've increased the melle defence slight & the unit size by a few, will be retesting to make sure it can beat a singular pratorian guard unit.

That'd be really cool too! Honestly I think they're perfect the way they are, but they're your units and you should do what you think is right for them. Anyway, keep up the awesome work dude. :D

I was actaully considering buffing them, I've just redone a couple of tests & 1 vs 1 against a Praetorian Guard they die.

That's not that impressive for the cost/time you get them & the 1 per faction limit - it's early days yet, but I won't be nerfing them anytime soon.

I don't think you should change these guys' stats. Theyre just like a hero, but split up into little bits. I've seen some die against a Praetorian Guard unit. Since you can only have one in the campaign, I'd think it's fair. But because they're really strong but still killable, these guys are my favorite unit now. :D But if you really want to rebalance them, could you make a seperate mod for that?

I'll be rebalancing them soon, but remember in custom battle they are indeed very powerful - but in campaign they are limited to 1 for the entire faction :), just in custom battle they are OP really.

I wanted to give some real elites, but limit them very severly as to prevent CPU or player spam to a degree which ruins balance.

Amazing mod, great job. The only thing i've could have wished for is just a little bit more balancing since their almost near immortal compared to "normal,unmodded"units.
But still a great add to the game.

Thanks for spotting this, I made a stupid mistake by renaming all as opposed to selected when splitting the tables, I've just had to rebuild all the split mods ;).

Let me know if it works ok now.

Hey man. These guys were working just fine about 10 minutes ago, but now they don't seem to be working. They're unit card shows up as a Roman Navy unit amd when I try to use them in-game they are invisible. I unsubscribed to all of my other mods to see if something was conflicting with it and it still does it. Any idea what's causing it?
