Hi, I'm sorry it's been a long time since I last played. I don't think I'll be coming back to Stellaris anytime soon so I'm afraid not for now. If I do return, then I'll make updating this mod a priority.

Hi Great Mod. When using the Old Metropolis starting System alongside Gigastructural Engineering, turn of of the scaling of Dysons Spheres and the like at the beginning of the game or the Ruined Dyson Sphere will disappear. (:

That sounds awesome to me, and by no means should you rush it. Please take all the time you need and then some. If that isn't a word its fine I know what you mean. This has been one of my favorite mods to date, thank you for all the hard work!

I haven't played stellaris since the 3.0 update yet, so I'll have to double check when I get around to it, but there shouldn't be any issues caused by this mod as it only adds content and doesn't edit/alter anything. Unless the update has changed something fundamental to do with traits, civics or starting systems, It should still work. Nevertheless, I am planning to update the mod in a while with more of each, and to compatibilize (is that a word?) the mod with 3.0 if/where needed.

Just wondering if this is still working for the 3.0.* update? I removed all my subscribed items to fix a conflict and i can't seem to figure out if this mod was the problem or if it was another one. Anyone had any luck with this after the update?

I'll look into that, I haven't been playing Stellaris for a while, but i have a few ideas and fixes for an update I'll release after the dust settles from Nemesis.

The 33% research speed of Chronicler also does not show up under the effects on the researchers or government effects tab.

@shadowhunter590 Thanks for the info. after a quick test the effect seems to be active on my game, but it doesn't display it. I'll need to look into it and check. if anything needs changing I'll do so next update.

I don't think snipers work as when I select it and play I don't see the modifiers on the ships unless that's not were I should be looking and if so understandable have a good day.

@gingitis123 Very much doubt there would be any crashes as a result of this mod as only it re-uses effects from the vanilla game and adds them as traits, civics and systems. one system does require the planetary diversity mod, but as you can simply choose not to use that system it shouldn't be an issue as it doesn't spawn naturally.

Adrenaline trait doesn't work, neither do the 3 Strategic Resources traits. Essential works, Population Pandemic also works. Electro/litho phile/addict/phobe all work.

Heavies works fine, Stable works, Last Remnant's science boost works but the resources from jobs don't, Ancient Caches doesn't work either.

Tried Activated Iris, spawned on a default planet (Tundra IIRC) with a small barren planet called (something something)EMPIRE_a clipping through; the ringworld was there though, and the effects are beautiful.

I used the updated module. Two parts of simplified Chinese text are not written. Lithoadict and renegade's hideout (this should have been added by the update). I write down their Sinicization below.

@KompleteNonsense I don't understand how that happens, all this mod does it add additional traits/civics/systems. none of the original game files are edited or overwritten.

This mods prevents genetic modification , as the trait modification points never change/ go above 0

Just a suggestion, but the offensive and defense civics seem to be unequal, or to me at least, the 100% + to damage for plat and starbase seems excessive, i figure maybe its like a civ version of Eternal Vigilance ascension but its obviously way stronger lmfao
Maybe have it as a pre-req for the eternal vigilance ascension, that way its an powerful earned trait? :D

@Mecrazyfang Yeah, I was worried that would be the case. Colonist works for me (somewhat) but only adds one pop. I'll convert them into civics for the next update.

Stable and Colonist Traits do not work. Might need to make them Civics?
Revanchist and Ancient Caches appear to register just fine. I'd be surprised if any of your Civics had issues.

You might want to look at how 'Precursor Traits' does their age-related Traits, for that fix.

@gingitis123 They're all listed as trait_f_(trait name here) or civic_f_(civic name here) with a couple exceptions. If you would like to find a specific one, search the mod's files in Steam/steamapps/workshop/281990/2364325816. that should be sufficient enough to find what you're looking for.

What are the trait IDs? Trying to pit a ridiculously overpowered Katzen Imperium (gigastructures) against an AI empire and see how ridiculous the battles get.

@vincramos07 You're right, I just tested and it doesn't work. Not sure why as the same effect is used elsewhere in base game and works fine there. I'll edit the trait so it adds a huge number to age instead of immortality via an effect.

just a heads up, the eternal trait doesnt work. i played a game expecting it to work, but not only did my ruler die, but my other leaders died as well.

What about a starting system consisting of a frozen rogue planet where your civilization has been forced to live underground for most of its existence until the discovery of FTL allows it to reach for nearby stars? Such a system would have no star and would be very dark.

A starting system with a ruined Dyson Sphere. Repairing it will give you a lot of energy rather early, but you will lose your home planet. Keeping it unrepaired will just give you some bonus energy.
