@burns862004 Sorry you are having issues! Also make sure you verify your game cache and that the correct mod playset is selected. You will know the mods are installed correctly if you try to host a game and the mods show up on the right side. I had some weird issue a while ago with some mod conflict and checking there saved me some time.

I've been trying some things and I can see that this isn't something that's just affecting this mod. (This just happens to be a favourite so I noticed it first.) I think it has something to do with my firewall so it's probably something that I'll have to deal with on my own end.

@burns862004 Oh that's really weird. Does it show up in game at all? How exactly did it stop working? Does the cheat version of this mod also not work for you?

Hi, I've been using this mod for a while and it was working great. However a couple of weeks ago it just stopped working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as getting rid of my other mods but it's still not working.

@Cap n Ball Torture Ah ok. I think that happens when there are too many available innovations to learn in that section. The game doesn't allow you to click the nevermind button or go back since they are outside of the event window. I will test it some more and upload the fix soon.

@Cap n Ball Torture Can you tell me how exactly the menus is broken? I have a new version that I can upload soon but I want to make sure it is fixing the issue. Are the innovation options so many that they fall out of the table? I separated the cultural innovations by eras so that the list should rarely if ever be too long. I'm not sure if that is the issue you were running into.

@leon I am working on a cheat version of this mod that will make it so you can keep the troops, even after a war ends. I'll make the prices for the paid troops free in that version as well. Is that something like you are looking for? I'm sorry I don't know what you mean by not be a legacy for the next role, do you mean make it not inheritable? n

Its very surprised that this mod is suitable for 1.5, which many mod is not applicable now.
I have a minor suggestion if I may put forward, can I get a option that get op troops with no limitation, and not be a lagacy for next role?

@ramar.lach glad it worked! I will make a separate mod for you soon. I just finished the AI version which has a bunch of new stuff. I plan on adding them to this one plus the one where you can keep the troops, so it will be posted soon.

@BigDaddyLoveTap Thanks for the suggestion. I implemented your idea in the new version. It probably needs balancing but it works haha

@Keyboard Cat The new version with AI is uploaded. Would love any feedback on it for balancing.

@ramar.lach Its set in my mod to disband after the war so there's not much you can do on your end. I can definitely make it into another mod for you since its a really simple fix. I'll be away from today until Sunday so I won't be able to have it uploaded until maybe Monday. If you don't want to wait until then, you can go into the mod files. It may be found under program files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/1158310/2368811651 There you will find my mods files. Go into events then starry_events.txt every where there is spawn_army is the command to make the troops. Just delete war = scope:starry_wars and it should let you permanently keep the troops.

@Keyboard Cat I can definitely try. There is an option when making decisions to allow AI, I would just need to do testing to see how/if it works and possibly do some balancing. If you or anyone would be willing to help me test it in the future that would be a big help.

@BigDaddyLoveTap I originally made this to give more of a cheaty option for troops, but if that is something you would want I can look into it. I suppose if the war was an invasion by a foreign enemy of a different religion then the peasant probably wouldn't mind too much. But if its just for increasing the lords demesne they would be quite angry. Anyways I will see what I can do and possibly make it into a separate mod.

This is cool! I'm wondering if you could add a popularity opinion penalty for every county in your domain. To simulate the general populaces displeasure. if your levies are peasants, then the draft must be older males and younger boys. Surely the common folk would be furious with a draft don't you think?

The devs really need to integrate this into the basegame, otherwise wars so often devolve into the AI just dogpiling the player with troops they found in a hedge

@Hodaft Not dead ! Working on the update now. Got a new computer and finished transferring the mod over, just need to do some testing to see if its broken since the new update made some changes to spawn_army.

@Vice haha your realm must be pretty huge! The levy count should take in all your vassal levies as well, which is why that number is so big. That's part of the reason why I tried to make it so they disband after the war. Would be kind of awkward having a massive army like that laying around forever.

When I summon this army...I get about 500-700k levy's which is insane haha. Not complaining though (my realm usually can only support 50k to 100k)

No the AI doesn’t use this decision.

I’m worried the AI would abuse it and there would be massive armies running around. So there would need to be some balancing and testing done in order to add it, and I wasn’t sure if that’s something anyone would want anyways. Let me know if you are interested in that, I could try to figure it out in a fair way and make it a separate mod.

@DESTINY_SIX Oh so glad it works ok! Thanks for letting me know! I made it only available during war so that the troops would go away after the war is over, rather than permanently be part of the army until they die off. If you or anyone would like it to always be available and don’t mind the immersion factor, I can always make a separate mod to change it. It’s really only one line that would be changed. I could also make it so they wouldn’t use supplies if people want it buffed more.

@DESTINY_SIX Hi, after you subscribed, is the mod turned on in the launcher? It usually turns on by default, but you can turn it off or on in the mod playset. If the mod is working, a decision will show up in the game, and it will be at the bottom called draft army, but only if you are in a war. The decision will open the event where you can spawn the troops.

Please let me know if its still broken or if it works ! This is my first mod so while its fine locally, I don't know if anything is changing when its subscribed to that could break it.
