I was missing two different table files, but I think I found a solution.
For the first missing model file, change the model like to
https://pastebin.com/raw/JpPS3kqt
The load the model and apply it to the 17 others.
It will say another model is missing, change that model link to
http://pastebin.com/raw/7Y9j1Fz2
and apply it to one other.
All the tables should be loaded correctly. I'm not sure how to make this permanent though.

Unfortunately one of the table objects is now broken, which means your playing space pretty much all disappears when you load in a game. Kind of a shame - it seems fixable at least though, but until it is the mod is kinda difficult to use.

I just played a game with road blocks and they didn't seem to recognized by the scripts, what is the proper way to place them on the board for the script to see them if it does at all.

Just noticed. Essen starts with a panic counter, its not a massive issue as it can just be deleted before the first game setup.

Took a look at the missing faded scripting of box P and created a small patch to make the "Accelerated Incubation" placements work (starting to be relevant from Mid April. can be patched in an ongoing game as well to avoid spoilers). If one of the authors wants to integrate this and update the version, you have my permission. In the meantime, hosts can paste this code via the scripting menu (save before doing it), then use "Save & Play" and save the game again to patch themselves if interested:

This version will give you new permanent structures in certain boxes or packets, but not include the card that comes with them which explains how you can put them down as permanent game-end upgrades.

Nearing the endgame with my group and we unlocked box 7 but it seems to be missing content. has the character and tokens but nothing about how they are implemented. Looking online I've seen there should be objective cards and a mission update.

Stack all the cards together face down, make sure the player count is set to the correct number, and click the setup button. It has a bug if you try to separate out things on your own. Those buttons are just for updating event cards, etc. if needed.

Tried setting this game up ahead of playing it with other people and I found I seem to be struggling with the proper placements of the player cards to get the scripting to work properly. The first time despite it looking like I had things in the right stacks when it constructed the draw pile it left out all the epidemics. I reset and tried again; this time it delt the epidemics into players hands. How can I make sure that they are properly positioned to work?

The deck should be above the board when first loading the game (next to the event cards). You can use the tool in the lower left to then deal the cards.

Cheers, that helps! Final question for now: does the scripting also include quarantine markers being protected when the quarantine specialist is present? And if so, how does it know which player is the QS? Does it check which character card so where on the table?

4) to change the panic level stickers you right click them and then select "state" that will allow you to change the numbers. It is also helpful to use the right click menu to "lock" the panic level stickers in place.
1 and 2) As far as the writing, I haven't found a usable workaround for that. I've been using the notes section just to write down funding / wins and losses/ character names and such

I've just played January with my wife, in preparation of a four-player game we're planning, so first of all: great job with the scripting! Especially the whole infection/epidemic thing is done exceedingly well.

Nonetheless, we have a couple of questions:
1) We can use the Text tool if the game calendar is locked, but that doesn't work particularly well, as text placement is really difficult. Is there another way to write on the calendar?
2) Same with the player cards: how can we write on the back of the player cards and the text stays there?
3) Setting up the player deck doesn't seem to work: when I put the city & epidemic cards and funded events in the designated slots, it deals our cards from the city deck without the funded events and then treats the funded events as if they're epidemics, i.e. putting them in the remaining city cards. The epidemic cards aren't even touched. Are we doing anything wrong?
4) How can we switch the panic level stickers to numbers other than 1?

I'm probably missing something obvious, but how can I write in the game calendar? When I use the text tool, I can write on the table, but it doesn't seem to work on the calendar.

IktuBlas - I think I fixed the draw error. For deck setup mix everything together. If the events are separate it throughs an error. I haven't gotten to looking into it since there is an easy work around.

I have a feeling i am breaking the scripting somehow during deck setup but i can't figure out how. The deck setup also returns an error and if i have the event cards where they are supposed to be they will not get shuffled into the deck

For some reason the draw card button always returns an error for me.
The error is
error in script (player deck button - 186d93) function <deal_current>: chunk_3:(112,4-57): attempt to index a nil value.
i have to select draw manually from the right click menu.
not sure if i am doing something wrong. otherwise thank you for scripting this mod

Absolutely recommend it. I went through the whole 12 months, I just can say it is perfectly made.

For the equipment and unfunded events I used the attach tool that was explained in the notes section at the top menu and it worked perfectly.

The scripting was awesome in everything. The only thing I can suggest for improving it is that when there is an outbreak in a non-faded city connected to a faded city, cubes (not faded figures) were being placed on the faded city . Also, the scripting perfectly recognised the quarantine and vaccinated city markers and wouldn't place stuff on them, but when a non COdA city had a faded city sticker, it was still putting the regular cubes on it .

Overall I really enjoyed the experience. Thanks man, it was amazing. Keep up the good work. :steamthumbsup:

BTW, I gave it a thumbs up but I couldn't find anywhere to give it a five star. If there's a way for that please let me know.

So I actually found a couple hours this afternoon and did the upload. If you are in the middle of a game, under the discussions tab, the "How do I..." discussion explains how to update scripts. Updates include handling breakouts, clicking cubes to treat them, and cleanup after a game. Thanks Will for the additions.

Vardagen - - Will and I both seem to be rather life busy at the moment, and we ran into some uploading errors that we are struggling to figure out. So hopefully soon but realistically, neither one of us has had the time to figure out the syncing issue. I honestly don't know how soon we will get it uploaded at this point.

Hi all
Love the game very much (played it 5+ times in cardstock), huge thanks for that.
However, when setting up a game with friends lately had the following:
All players apart from the host had the buttons (infection section, draw section..) in huge size above the table and they seemed to be attached to the character type cards (e.g. dispatcher).
Didn't go away when setting up a new one.
My wife and I played around the theory that if all players have the workshop content, it decreases the probability of this bug... However, still having it sometimes when all (both in that case) players have the workshop content...
Anybody else had that and a reliable way to overcome it?
Obviously, if we start a legacy game, we need to trust it doesn't screw up after saving and loading for playing the next months...

Thanks for the feedback whodack. It's nice to know that there is someone who has bought the physical game more than me. Although my play through count is getting guiltily close to double digits.

We are looking to do a big update soon. Will.prime.wp has done a HUGE amount of additions to handle outbreaks, treatment cube clicks, cleanup, and some other things. We can probably fix the first item.

You actually can move the players around, but it is based on hand zones, not reference cards. So you need to use the zone tool on the left side to create a hand zone, delete the old hand zone, and set the new hand zone to the appropriate color. Something to keep in mind if you do this is that you cannot have the cards travel over another players card zone when drawn. Hope this helps.

Two notes for those using this:
1. On load of a saved game, the Number of Players on bottom right deck setup resets to 3. Remember to manually change it if needed.

2. If you intend to use the colored buttons for drawing cards then you cannot move the initial colors of players around. (Via their action reference cards) Might as well lock the reference cards to table.

Neither of these is a big deal. Just thought others might benefit from my experience thus far. I'm absolutely loving this and thank the creator for providing it. I've bought the physical game 4 times now and being able to play digitally is amazing!

Hi Keith.callbeck - The file with the update is the infectionDeckButton file.

1. SAVE YOUR GAME FIRST.
2. Open up a new game
3. At the top the screen you can select modding->scripting.
4. Make sure Lua is selected on the left then select InfectionDeckButton (or whatever file you need to update).
5. Select and Copy the code.
6. Follow the same steps to open the scripting in your current game.
7. Paste the code over the old code.
8. click save and play.

I can't find any info on how to update scripts. I'm mid-June so don't want to mess with deleting it trying to work it out.
