@moo Tested the mod with Simple Recycling and got no issues, you seem to have some other incompatibility issue

@Mlie I have the same issue @StarlightSovereign reported: Empty bills.

I managed to filter out the incompatible mod, and it's one that you also support: Recycle This (Continued) (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3253550009) .

Simple way to reproduce the error:

1) Have both mods and harmony enabled;
2) Try to add a bill to the carpenter table;

There won't be any bills available and the text "None" will appear instead.

I don't have a way to reproduce it, but my pawn managed to build a Cloth poker table. Of course cloth is not an option in the bill (Wood was chosen).

very weird how as soon as i place this down i can no longer interact with anything in the room that it is in

which honestly this is fine i don't desperately need this mod, its just good to finally know wtf was breaking

So I have this loaded near the bottom of my list, after any and all furniture adding mods. I have zero bills even after unlocking research that says the items in it are built at Carpenter table.
What is wrong?
I can't post the HugsLib log because it's still not working?
But I don't think it's throwing any errors anyway. It's just missing any recipes.

hi retrogazer, when you have that issue, does this carpenter mod actually show brackets {[]} in the game text? maybe that is what is causing it

Do you think we could get a "deconstruct building" bill so that if we make a bill for making structures with a minimum quality, we could make sure the junk builds are getting re-scrapped?

I am noticing an issue where having the "Restrict furniture construction" option enabled also prevents me from placing any sleeping spots. While I can understand how this has happened (they in the furniture category afterall), I feel like spots should be excluded as you aren't actually making anything, just designating a spot.

Hello fellow users, here's some compat info:
For some reason that only the Machine Gods know, this mod is incompatible with [O21] WikiRim (Continued) . Now, just to be clear, both mods works fine on its own. So, if you're having this specific problem, you can switch WikiRim for Glitterpedia , since it does the same thing, abeilt with different presentation.
Just to be clear, this isn't a bug report, just advice.

With too much free time, I finally found how to remove some recipes from the carpenter table without using another mod:
Simply add <recipeMaker /> to a building will remove it from the recipes (it explains the missing Drum recipe). So I think it's possible to patch all minifiable buildings without quality comps in one time (and use it as a setting?).
And by patching recipeMaker it become possible to patch industrial/tribal buildings, slab bed and maybe too others misc ideology buildings.

Also, can you tell me why <stuffCategories Inherit="false" /> is empty? By filling it I can have the colors back (as on the screenshots of the mod).

@Starfoth The Burgundy Silk Rug Yes, they have some custom code to achieve that. Dont think there is a simple solution for it as its still only one bed-recipe in the database. If they had done separate bed-types they would have shown up in the list.

From here. I think the issue is that they all use the same resource (wood) to produce 4 different variants
This also seems to be an issue with any furniture items that have variants not tied to material used

Carpenter table allow pawns to build stuff from others ideologies that they should not be able to build.

A setting to remove the bills for buildings without quality could be good, please.

Removing Carpenter Tables did not resolve the error, I suspect one of the other mods is the culprit.@Tec have you completed the Rimatomics starting research?

Having the same error. Dub's Menus isn't part of the problem. It seems to also be breaking crafting on the smithing bench for some reason? I'm using RimPy and looking at the other mods I have that are messing with that function, the possible culprits it lists are Carpentry, Rimatomics, NoMaxBills, BestMix, and CategorizedBills. Loading without Carpentry to see if removing this fixes it.

sorry for all the posts, im trying to get it to do it again, cant seem to get it to produce the error previously, i discovered if i remove the carpenters bench as a "user" for any of the recipes using RIMMSqol, the bills all load in, and i can undo the recipe change i did and that one gets back in.

i cant see anything in the logs other than warning and errors from other mods. RIMMSqol did a check when i activated it to try alter the recipes. Here's the log, Not sure if this is useful.

so when i loaded it up again, the error didnt come up, but the recipes were still missing. That was all i had from the clipboard, as i copied it.

hey so currently i get an error about missing defs and no bills populate. What is wierder is that it did start working, but then stopped again when dubs mint menu gave an error. Any ideas? if you wan the specific error, can re-enable it and get it for you.

@123Nick Work should be the same. The ”discount” is that you can massproduce items in your production location instead of hauling all ingredients to the construction site each time.

Hey, can there be an option too perhaps have a discount when building furniture on the Carpenters workbench, vs building it on site? Or furniture options that are patched too be in the workbench, when built on site normally require significantly more work? i like the idea of the mod, but i dont like how it feels distinctly optional vs building furniture normally, and theres only 1 config option in the mod settings.
