use a spawn ship mod that provides emergency supplies to start with. the whole point of the mod is to provide a challenge :) Cheers

i still only start out with 26 hydration and not enough time to build an assembling bench + power source + emergency ration block...

Yes, thats actually part of the DNSK mod itself, this is the IO merge mod for the IO and DNSK system.

See the guide there under Cloning sickness....

As to dying too fast, I gather your not using a respawn pod mod that gives you starting supplies? There are quite a few on the workshop.....

Is it normal on first spawn to only have 34 food and 34 water, with zero items in inventory on the ship or on person? If so, that's just a recipe for immediate death at the rate in which thirst goes down, within minutes I was down to 15 water just from my first mining. I do not see a feasible way for a player to start and have water and food generation up that quickly without dying repeatedly. Not the start I'm looking for. I tested this with ONLY the three mods in the correct order as above and checked all inventories on Earth like planet drop pod.

Water Bottles? Or do you mean Drinkable Water Packets?

Tested... cant duplicate your probelm. ( there are no water "bottles" in DNSK )

I have an issue where the Emergency Rations block won't accept water bottles to make the rations.

Eat drik sleep repeat is not compatible with DNSK due to the scripts in EDSR conlflicting

I don't if this is the a problem with this plugin or just DNSK, but the DNSK items do not show up in the Survival Kit if you use the Eat. Drink. Sleep. Repeat! plugin for Industrial Overhaul. Either way, just thought I'd point this out for anyone trying to use DNSK and Eat. Drink. Sleep. Repeat! with Industrial Overhaul. Hope someone fixes this in the future. It would be nice to see these three mods to work nice with each other.

And yes, being an assembler it suffers from all the bugs in Keens code that all assemblers can suffer from. Not drawing from its output slot is one of those in game bugs from Keen.

The block is intentionally slow, as outlined in the main DNSK mod guide.

For my rations to start processing it appears I had to remove the water (or put it in the top slots), cancel the food, then restart the food. then it was making food.
That actually works out fine, one block for water, the other for food.

Wrong Mod.

No hydropinics blocks in this mod. In the main DNSK mod there are. Seeds go in the Soil Tray Crop Grower. See main guide on DNSK mod.

I can't figure out how to put seeds in the two Hydroponics blocks. Like, it doesn't let me load them. I've got the Soil Tray working, but no dice on the others. They do have water and gravel, though, over a hundred of each.

yea people just dont read the 5 lines above that say "IN THIS MOD" lol

As well the provided above ore , planetary data etc etc are all provided directly to me by Clockwork from his mod ( hells he even wrote the section I just dropped it in ) ..... So... any issues are either in his mod OR an individual running another mod thats bodged the set up.

I must have presumed from the mod name and the comment from the last guy that this mod in particular worked as a full integration i apologize for that. But yes i agree it is something to do with Clockworks mod, His Modded production blocks don't recognize ores from DNSK and as i mentioned from my last post i've already left a message on his mod page, about 4 days ago now i believe.

AGAIN - thats something Clockworks mod is doing, this one doesn't touch those items from the main DNSK mod. It just makes this one block buildable early game using HIS mod.

Contact Clockwork, thats his mod breaking it not mine. which is odd as that Carbon was the same in both mods he didnt need to touch it so you may have another mod conflicting.

Current bug with the IO mod kinda breaks production. Potassium Ore and Carbon Ore cannot be refined at all, Phosphorous Ore refines just fine.

Hi, I'm not sure who I need to contact, but I have a crash. It is unfixable ?
When loaded mods are :

DNSK Industrial overhaul merge plugin

Upgradable O2/H2 Generator (top or bottom on the list doesn't change anything)

When I try to add Airtight speed module to the construction bar the game freeze and crash.
Logs says that :

I did tell it to make rations but it was still showing missing items. I was playing on playing on pertam and had really low power. I decided to spawn to earth and have better power production and it started working. might have just needed more power.

its an assembler, you have to tell it to make rations, not a refinery. and its very slow, wait for it

For some reason the block isn't making rations i have 1 full unit of water (it says it requires only .1) and 280 of gravel but it says missing items still

The block in the master DNSK uses grids, this one doesn't.

You have a Mod loading order error See the list in the slide show above.

The block in THIS changer doesn't use metal grids ( that's the whole point of this mod, no components you cant get from the basic assembly bench or lower tech, it changes the block components needed ).
