Seeing as this patch is still being maintained, I take it the compatibility between Girion and the ACOT team still doesn't exist. Dropping a sub as I've been thinking about getting ACOT recently.

Oh, I see. Irrelevant, really. I've named the file so that it will be sorted into the correct place with Z-A sorting, and that works for me. Acquisition of Technology mod has no bearing on this mod.

Just use Z-A sorting, and this will automatically be put in it's correct position, which is below ACOT (that means this mod overwrites the relevant code in ACOT).

Yes, I've yet to check, but there's no reason this would go out of date, other than as majones27 points out.

It shouldn't need an update. Looking at the files, it is just an overwrite of ACOT's technology files to include the EST Academy version of Spark of Genius. Only reason it would ever need an update is if ACOT adds more technology requiring that fix or makes huge changes to their existing technologies

irony mod manager is saying that you're missing a } in acot_00_army_tech.txt
I think you're short 1 } after the following line

What mod or mods are you using for the leader appearance? They are great. I like these alot better than the defaults.

Several of the ethic based acot tech's require particular expertise for them to show up, also the trait limit is really high and having 1 more shouldn't break it. I'm just saying this mod could make that tradition compatible with every mod out there, much greater use case.

Well, I went through the ACOT mod and added the EST version of Spark of Genius to every list that required the vanilla Spark of Genius, so I think I've covered everything. What do you think I've missed? Also, leaders have a limit on how many traits that they can have.

You could pretty easily expand this, since there are a bunch of technologies in acot and other mods that don't show up unless your scientist has the right traits, a pretty easy solution for all of the possible incompatibilities would be to make it so it doesn't actually remove the old version of the trait when it gives the new version, just tone down the new version IE genius is +10% then the improved genius gets toned down to also be +10% 10+10= 20 so it's the same as before but with no incompatibilities.
