Heya! Just wondering if this will get a 1.5 update, or if it still works in 1.5. This is my favourite turret mod!

I would like this to be the only mod I use. However, the turrets seem wildly inaccurate. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'll check to see if there is an option to improve the accuracy native to the mod. The light gatling gun turret seems like it uses the threat of perforation as a suggestion more than fact. The auto cannon turret feels lethargic and myopic.

The 5" guns are amazing. They're also not hugely accurate, however, they are five inch rapid fire naval guns. A near miss is a hit with those things.

The bigger boys are fine, I guess. I haven't gotten to use them much and it seems a little silly to mount high grade naval bombardment cannons for base defense when the maps are not nearly large enough for them. For me, those five-inchers are a gold standard.

Temporarily speaking, I've gone over to Sci Fi Power Core for small turrets since they can hit things reliably. Even then, their larger turrets are really funky. For larger work, I really do like this mod. It looks nice, it sounds nice and the sizes seem reasonable. I just expect a machine gun turret to, you know, be able to hit something.

Would you entertain the idea of adding something like a Phalanx as a more accurate, higher rate of fire high end turret? Something that is expensive but geared toward mowing down fleshy things?

Regardless, thank you for all the hard work. Thank you for sticking to the modding scene.

Thank you! I honestly didn't think this mod would be updated but I'm glad it was. This is the only turret mod I use anymore. The lighting on placement is a huge benefit for me and I haven't really seen other turret mods try this. Once again, thank you so much for the update!

this has become one of my favorite mods! i love defensive combat and adding all these turrets gives great variety.
i tend to stay away from the big cannons but i do use the smaller turrets quite a bit.
if i have any input for you so far it'd be one thing.
the shredder turret is very powerful and has decent fire rate. i can destroy most raids with a few of these in the right place. possibly lower the fire rate to balance it out?
Love the work so far, if you plan to create any new projects in the future i bet they'd be legendary!

@Reaperisonline i noticed the recommendation. As soon i got the time i will work on the improvements. The patch for the CE will come later. There are turrets wich are planned still missing. This and the Changing of the armored turrets will come with the same update.

Hey dude, awesome mod. I love the turret designs, especially the bigger ones. Im playing with CE tho so some turrets dont work for me until you or someone else writes a patch but have a +1 like anyway. I took some time to write feedback since i really like your designs and also have a few opinions on them. Please do note that most of this is probably personal taste and you should always go for what you think is most pleasing. Also i noticed i wrote way more than 1000 characters so i had to split this message up....sorry if this spams your workshop page.

Small turret A i really like the laser pointer on it, its a nice touch. Altho i do dislike how boxy it is compared to regular turrets of simmilar size. Id suggest making that box smaller. perhaps a rectangle instead of a square?

Small turret B so right off the bat this is a great design, but i dont understand why this is the only light blue turret. Colour palette wise, i noticed that light A, medium A and heavy B follow the same colours. Medium B and Heavy A do this as well so the baby blue just isnt working for me. Id suggest following the same color palette as one of the above for consistancy

Medium turret A i love this design, simple, elegant. Only thing maybe is the way the barrels connect to the rest of the turret. Maybe a bit of space between the barrels? Not too much tho...i like that they are close together but i wouldnt glue them together. Just doesnt sit right with me , especially when zooming out.

Medium turret B is aestethicly less pleasing than the bigger one. it seems kinda simple / boxy but keep in mind this might also be a matter of taste. I think its because the bigger turret has the sides, making it look more 3d while this one does not. I hope this makes sense, otherwise feel free to hit me up on discord/steam and ill show you what i mean. I think you modeled this one after the Mark 29 Dual Purpose Naval Gun. I think you could gain some more detail from showing more clearly that the barrels go inside of the structure. Right now the area with the white panel and barrels crossing through seems off to me.

Large turret A and B. balance wise id suggest increasing the max range. I myself play on the smallest map size 200x200, but with big barrels like that, id expect it to at least have a radius of maybe 75? Maybe crank up the range somewhere in between? 49/57 or 59/67 for example. Currently the ranges are respectively 39 and 47. The minimum range is perfect. As for turret A, the thingies between the barrel and rest of the building seem to have some red in it. I think aestethicly this draws too much attention since the rest of the turret is blue, but maybe im nitpicking here.

To finalize this; its just a random idea, but maybe a bit more love for the front of the barrels. If you quickly google Naval guns you'll see most of them have like an extra line or shape at the edge. For your medium turrets, id suggest googling the Mark-8 naval gun. It has a nice medium sized barrel, simmilar to your designs.

Have been using this since the day you posted it, and not noticed any issues so far.
There is a spelling mistake in one of the research names though, will have to check which one is is as can't remember off top of my head.
