Report a translation problem
Go to your Documents -> My Games -> Sid Meyer's Civilization 5 -> Mods folder and look for the Kanto and Johto Map Pack folder. Move it to:
Sid Meyer's Civilization 5 -> Maps
Then check Additional Maps when you want to play them.
I reread the directions and it works now. Turns out I didn't fully understand it right away. It works now. Thanks, man! I'm looking forward to playing this map!
Is it your Computer that wont read the file, or is it Civ V that won't read the file? Every Computer should be able to download it even if it can't read the file type, and if you saved it in the directory I specified in the description then you should be able to select it as a map. If this isn't working then i don't know if i can help you :/

You're supposed to compare by switching between images
The Map does have both regions and you can travel between them
