You can try, but it'll likely wreck everything. Its too complex of a project. Which is why its a dropdown list and not a classname-enter option. Each aircraft has to be setup differently. Most aircraft won't work at all as they don't have a walk-able surface built into the model. I had to custom modify the current C-130 from an old Arma 2 model.

It'd be really awesome to be able to use this with aircraft such as the Spearhead C-47 - since that has static line scripts - but as the aircraft used is only selectable from the drop-down menu in the module, this doesn't seem possible. Is there a way to manually edit the aircraft used for the drops with a new classname, for example in the mod folder files? Not an issue if some of the custom effects don't work with it.

The Cargo Option is added to the same object you did the Flight Plan on. Whatever object you click on for the Flight Plan, when done, there will be another Menu addAction added to that same object to then select your Cargo Options.

Added the cargo drop option to the LEAP module on the drop down menu. Once i enter the game and select my flight path and all that it does not give me the option to choose and request cargo to be added. How do i do this?

It loaded fine for me. Did you subscribe to ALL my projects? Its an "all-in-one" example tutorial map, so you need all projects for it to load.

The Tutorial Download Link is above. Its sorta out-of-date at this point... Give it a whirl. You'll need to subscribe to all projects, as its an all-in-one tutorial. There is a page in the Briefing for the HALO instructions.

Very unlikely. I'm mostly done working on it. Maybe some rainy day, but doubtful.

Unclear on the question. You'll have to download all projects, and tutorial. Yes, its for full immersive Infils. You have to gear up and setup a proper flightplan. If you jump too soon, you'll be off course. If you don't use proper equipment for HALO jumps, you'll suffer hypoxia, etc. You set your settings in the options in the LEAP Module.

Is there plans to make the UI work with different resolutions? Currently on 2560x1440 I cannot turn on the battery on the rebreather and use some other UI elements

1. Place Object (laptop, etc) - add the FlightPlan addAction for ParaJump and/or HALO
2. Click on it and it will Open your Map, and you'll have to Click for the DropZone, then it will instruct you to Click again for the Flight INTO the map (click outside of the map). This is where the aircraft will approach from.

NOTE: if using the C17 Globemaster, that's from a different addon. That plane isn't in my project. The guy who owns/runs it, called it USAF (Sgt Fuller I think is his name), rather than something unique to his project. I only include the Black XC-130. You would need to subscribe to his project to use his stuff, which I coded to add support.

okay, got it but how do I file the flight plan? ive placed the add action lines in the leap module onto the C17 globemaster but I dont know how to file the flight plan. I click halo jump in the action bar, i click on a location and then it doesnt do anything

Yes. (not sure what you mean?) Of course anyone playing the mission will need to have subscribed to this addon. You can use any modules, and addons, into your missions.

Yes. You place the Module(s) in the Editor/Map. Double-Click to Open.

Modules are called "Systems" in the ArmA Editor. All my stuff is under Zero Dark Zero .

You have to go through the JumpMaster... You need to place the Module, then Copy/Paste the addAction line into an object or unit. You will need to File a Flight Plan first, then go through the JumpMaster for the Inspection. If you pass, he will issue you the Parachute, and put your Backpack onto your front.

Most of the instructions, and info are in the Module. The Tutorial I had (Dropbox download) no longer works.

@R. Von Quest How are you doing? Regarding the automatic version, it would be nice to have it since when you land in water you can't take off the parachute because you can't open the inventory. Instead regarding the issued parachute, most of the time my team uses different parachutes (based on their loadouts) so with the possibility to disable the option we won't have problems with parachutes etc.

Inventory is always disabled in water by BIS. Nothing I can do. I tried to override it but I can't without getting goofy. The old version was automatic, but we like being able to kick off the chute on the ground behind us. The auto version felt too gamey.

And why disable the issued parachute? Wouldn't the landings be a tad rough without a chute? LOL.

I am encountering a serious issue. When I go through the flight plan filing and board the plane. The cutscene cuts to me standing in the air with a smoke effect but NO plane model I am floating in mid air and no plane model asset renders in. The module is placed in editor and laptop named correctly do you know where this fault maybe coming from?

Also, it would be nice if the parachute was automatically removed when landing (especially when landing on water, since you cannot access the inventory).

Ahh ok effects you for the rest of the game/mission thats a pretty good way of penalizing the lack of protective gear. Thanks again for the prompt reply!

It's random. Weak to more severe. May start early or later. It varies. Also zaps your Fatigue, Stamina, Strength, and Aiming coefficients for the rest of the game.

Hey great mod feels really immersive. However, there does not seem to be a grave consequence for refusing to wear protective mask oxygen and jumpsuit. Hypoxia is observed but the loss of consciousness is temporary and you are able to regain consciousness and carry on with the jump. I would recommend making the penalty of hypoxia far more severe and provide the mission maker the ability to change at what altitude hypoxia sets in. Overall, this is a great mod really immersive I love the transition from air to sea with the dragonfly dual use rebreather system.
