Update:
Beefed up the sensitivity on the a/d rudder. It is very slow to turn which is fine from ship to shore. Precise movement like lining up to dock its simpler to get in the water and swim tow a general aim.

Update to a single docking connector.
It was fine before but as of a mini-update to the game today on spawning with tender docking to the mothership the larger mothership would spin in the dock. Switching the single connector seems to fix this problem.
As always it is good to use the rope anchors (1 at bow, 2 at stern) to secure the Loki to the mothership in the event that either the mother or Loki lose electrical power.

I was going to change the central bow connector to the electrical type but there can be scenarios where if you drain the mothership battery you would have drained your tender. You might want the Loki to still have power for rescue or assists. So you would need a manual interaction to decide that which is the same as using the intended cable connection already on the stern top.

Update:
Corrected the rear upright to cable connector for power hookups as was first intended. Had "electrical connector" there which is a docking port function

Update:
Toggle button for docking connectors is now used as it allows to start “on” for quick grab when copy-pasted onto motherships.
