@Tyler, if toy don't like the mod just unsubscribe from it.This is a WIP and many things are created in Athanasios free time. This is a historical mod that is been created according to books and sources about how was the strategic situation that year that Rome II takes place, not fictional, not what if scenarios (like DEI) no nothing...Keep up the good work Athanasios!!!!

I kinda gave up on it as not all of the changes are for the best, and with the fixes mod, they also havnt been tested recently and are incompatible with certain other essential mods

Some historical suggestions that could help you:
-Pyrrhus at that time (272bc) was 46,Olympias/26,Ptolemy/24, Alexander/22,Helenus/18 years old
-Troada at the age of 5 died in the siege of the palace from Epirote Rebels/Cassander's assasins
-Epirus has Peltasts yet you can't retrain them to Light Peltasts like all Hellenic factions (can you add it?)
-Epirus doesn't have Sarissa Lances can you add them?-at the barracks/unit recruit,at lvl 3 you can recuit almost every unit (lvl 4-useless)
-Epirus doesn't have Thorax Pikes/Swords(All Hellenes should have Thureos Swords (Diadochi should be able to Thorax Swords-so can you add Thorax Swords/Pikes to Epirus?)
-Also Athens Syracuse etc have Pikes,they used Hoplites,Peltasts,Thureos etc,but not Pikes-they sould be removed
-Also all Hellenes can't retrain their units, like Rome(can you add retrain?)
-The Emperor edition map is more accurate/cities with walls (Syracuse,Pergamon,etc.),can you change the map?,

I am using a mod that changes the map of main campaign to that of Emperor edition.

SUGGESTIONS:
-convert the CLIENTELAR STATES (which only drag you into wars) to SATRAPIES and change their name to Vassals
-remove useless factions such as Cartago Nova, Meda, Caracena (imperator august) etc.
-make allies and vassals help you in certain wars
-reduce basic income and increase taxes per city (could be a separate mod)
-create factions as in the old rome, joules, brutes and scipions...
-all cities must have walls, increase garrisons by 40% more and reduce movement per turn
-improves garrison-only building upgrades, reduces construction cost to zero and agent cost.
add factions like Samnites, Maccabean rebellion <3, create another historical beginning perhaps in 180 BC...
-and create a Roman civil war mod CAESAR VS POMPEY please

Certainly. And technology trees themselves also need to be improved to be even more historical (for example using some HATG technologies for artillery).

I honestly hands down think this is the best paste over vanilla mod out there! hands down. sprinkle on some AAA generals and such, BOOM! PERFECT! I just wish we could get a taste of whats been worked on, as the last update to this mod has been a few years...

Many buidlings were removed by Emperor Edition but some new were added as well (such as the town centres). So I try to bring back the removed stuff or any unused stuff that I like.

Well, the test was in normal difficulty (easy in fact). And by 265 I controlled all Greece + Rhodos. 2Full stacks + Fleet and at war with Pergamon which have no chances to harm me. So after killing Pergamon the main greek objective, Egypt, will be conquered next 10-15 turns. Guess more difficulty is needed.

well, I started as Athens. I see Epirus is more powerful, but I feel no differences in gameplay.
I think I must write a memorandum (in the game forums) about the key points that must be changed in Rome 2 to get a full experience.

I'm aware don't worry, but testing mods in Rome 2 is a breeze compared with my +200 mod list of Skyrim.

It's work in progress and a very early version. I have been working on it non-stop though since March 2021.
