This mod requires a complete rework and it's kinda low on my porting list, so I have no idea when I'll be able to port this one.

Dear Zerg93. First of all thanks for the time you've spent, to proove that your mod works. I just deactivated all running mods and only single loaded the swords of gazul mod. Result - none of the units was shown and I don't know why. Surprisingly Thorgrim had an engineer hero with the name Tom Phillipson at start although I didn't load any other mod than yours and although I never had this before. I tried it with Kaedrins Mod Manager and with the CA launcher, but same result. I just wanted to tell you this, to let you know, that your mod isn't responsible for the issue. If I only would know what's the reason for it.:steamsad:

These are the final results of my investigation after 89 turns in a Mortal Empires campaign with Thorgrim with only this mod enabled: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/2411993530/3390660679625000693/
As you can see from the screens after building all of the required main and secondary buildings all of the units are recruitable and available.
You can see their unit cards in the building browser and the recruitment tab.
As far as I'm concerned this mod Is working as intended.
Again: the issue Is on your end and I have no idea of what could possibly cause said issue.
And again: all of my other mods are made to be compatible with each other so they are not the cause of said issue either.
That's pretty much everything I could do here, I'm done. :cozycastondeath:

My mods don't have compatibility problems with each other nor can cause issue like that.
I'll make a final investigation on this issue by playing a campaign myself and see if I can recreate the issue, can't do anymore than that I'm afraid.

No, I didn't forget to update the building chains.
The units are properly assigned in the building units allowed table, in the custom battle permissions table and in the units to grouping military permission table which are the three main tables that manage the units in both custom battle and campaign.
Moreover each unit cards Is properly attached to each unit.
Again: I have no idea if You have another mod that Is messing your game up or not.
And no, I don't think that the update wasn't save compatible but You can try a new campaign and see if the problem Is still there or not.

Dear zerge93. I saw that you updated your mod and gave it another try, but no success with the mortar. And by chance I discovered today that there are no unit cards of 2 other units of this mod - the souldrakes and the zealots. Could it be, that you forgot to dedicate the unit cards to the new building chains after the last DLC, where CA changed the millitary recruit and millitary support buildings? I tried different options as leaving away the mixu unlocker for empire mods, but nothing changed. I didn't find the culprit for this issue. Maybe you have an idea or another one who reads this. Thank you so far. I so much would love to play this mod, but at the moment it doesn't make sense, unfortunately. :steamsad:

Btw - all other units are shown correctly in the browser. It's only the mortar that's card isn't shown.

The issue is, that the unit card of the Blazing Reckoning Battery doesn't appears, although you can read in the building descriptions that this unit can be recruited . Btw - I make use of 100+ mods like you do, but currently I had no dwarven mod running. So there must be another reason for it, but I don't have a clue what it is. I had de- and reinstalled your mod but no positive result so far.

@stefan_kolbe I have no idea of what Is causing your problem.
I just launched a mortal empires campaign with Thorgrim and the Blazing Reckoning Battery Is in the Workshop building chain as It should, specifically at the Foundry.
If It's not there than you must have some other mod generating a conflict.
If by not recruitable you meant that It's there but you can't recruit It, It's because you didn't build the required buildings to allow the recruitment which are a Foundry and an Engineers' Guild Hall as secondary building.
You can find out if a unit needs a secondary building by hovering on the unit card in the building browser.

Unfortunately the excellent mortar, is not available in campaign - not recruitable, although it appaers in the custum battle roster. Could you please check the issue? Thanks in advance.

I really like this mod! I had been trying to practice modding with little success to design a unit like this since Dodgy Scotsman made some Gazulite War clerics. Great to see some stone and steel inspired units. :) Maybe in the future you'd consider doing Brotherhood of Grimnir units or some other ancestor gods ones :)

You can already deploy outside of the deployment zone with the following units:
-Grim Stalkers (Rangers With Dual Swords)
-Grim Stalkers (Greatsword & Throwing Axes)
-Grim Avengers (Sword & Shield And Crossbow With Flame Arrows)
About the second question, yeah I do think that's possible but I'm not very good with visual effects and stuff, maybe with a guide about It I could make an attempt but no promises for now.

Love this mod. Have you thought about making the units capable of deploying outside of the deployment zone? And maybe giving the swords of the "Guardians of the flaming vengeance" a glowing hue maybe?
