What stage of the scenario are you at?
Winters are long and cold so your villagers will tend to stay indoors.
Not much will be done in Winter.
Re raiders, blow the horn when raiders attack in Winter but wait until they are close to your settlement so your villagers don't get too cold waiting around before the attack, they will come out of the huts and defend against raiders.

Nobody works in the winter, the map is unplayable this way as the raiders will kill you.

I am aware of the problem but it cannot be fixed, it is a path issue which started after the last game update quite some time ago. The game has been dropped by the DEV's so no solution.
This does happen sometimes when you run the game on high speed.
If you keep to speed 1 and 2 you should be fine.
If the game is saved after this happens you have no recourse except if you keep prior saves.

I'm really enjoying these maps, but I keep running into a slight problem.
Once I reach a certain point/population, people and animals (wild/domesticated) oftentimes become stuck in a single spot, causing them to die of starvation/dehydration/hypothermia. Anybody know a good fix for this?

Hey I really appreciate man. I've tried various other map mods and this so far is by far.... the best one. Mineral placement, flat plains with surrounding mountains make this very enjoyable to both build, defend and progress. Thanks again bud for making this. I'm a contractor who has limited time to play and felt the vanilla maps were terribly made. hardly any flats at all and with the limitations on multiple settlements it was frustrating to play.

I am sorry for the problem, I edited the files adding comments for those who want to modify the scenario and forgot 1 >
It is now all fixed, just update the scenario files by unsubscribing/subscribing again and you will be on your way.

Hey! I love the look and setup for this mod! I'd also like to make it harder in one way: starting with only 2 people, Adam and Eve style. I tried editing the file, and it doesn't seem to have done anything, so I'm pretty sure I'm just being ignorant and don't know how to do it right. Would you have any tips/pointers?

On your Afghan Mountains map, just started it, done nothing yet so far...! Soo, it's basicly a blanc canvas..And i want to learn also to do this with my Freeplay map Continental Dawn

If you want to insert the code to work with your save, I need to know where you are at on your save.
If the code is inserted before it won't work, only work on new game.
Tell me what you want to insert with numbers and locations, if you want them spawning at the same time or different times.
For animals do you want to spawn specific animals or you want greater numbers of them in the wild.
Give me as much details as possible and I will work the coding for you and tell you where to put it.

I once did this before, but thats years back now..
The important thing is How to start with it, i can't simply alter the lines and hope it works at the gecko on my save game right...

I'd like to spawn: sticks, logs, tools, clothing, flint and more aninals..

Yes you can spawn about anything, it needs to be coded in the 'scn.xml' file.
You would need to code in the time or event to trigger the spawn together with a location.
Open the 'scn.xml' file in a text editor and have a look around the file.
You should get some ideas of how it works.

@Uglybird is it also possible to spawn other things in, besides animal pop? Like wood, stone and flint as a example in that scenario file? OR my regular save game for the 1st map in Freeplay

The only fix to your problem is to edit the scenario file, I will not change it for every one as some gamers like a challenge.

Just make the changes yourself. This will not affect your saves. Good luck to you.

you say if you come close they kill you... ye i know that for a fact. but thats the problem, they are everywhere so everywhere i go they kill me

There are no wild animal attacks scripted in the scenario.
Wild animals will not come towards your settlement to attack but if you get close in the wild to cave lions and cave hyena they will kill you.
When setting your hunting areas choose eras away from the 2 animals above if possible or send parties to hunt together.
Having dogs help as they keep the attention of the wild animal as you try to kill it.

Its a nice and beloved scenario. There is just one problem: Agresive animals. Their everywhere and kill anyone who isnt in a group and they just kill, kill and kill. Can there be a little less of them? My population grows slower and i cant hunt a lot because they kill all the animals.

I had this scenario in store for some time.
I played it achieving all milestone but not sure if there were any bugs.
So let me know if you encounter any problem.
The map is nice, changes every season and Fall is a must.
