Could you take your busted nonupdated mod down then please so others don't get screwed up?

And yes it can cause the problems I am mentioning because that is what happened. When I removed your mod and started a new game without it everything is now working fine.

So.... yeah. No offense. Not trying to be a jerk but a little miffed that I lost two advanced saved games and many hours. If your mod isn't supported anymore please remove it.
Doldenberg  [author] 3 Aug @ 4:44am
a) This hasn't been updated in four years, so bugs or outright incompatibility are to be expected.
b) There is no possible way for a mod, and specifically this mod, to do that. That is some error with the Launcher or your game or even your PC.
entropyjones 1 Aug @ 10:31am
This mod broke my saves. Even now when I've uninstalled it it still seems to be breaking new saves that don't even contain the mod. It keeps showing up in my playset even though I've unsubbed and have removed the mod from the playset.

Pretty pissed...
noobmasterchief21 30 Jan, 2024 @ 4:07pm
yes it is integrated @lando
lando 10 Jul, 2022 @ 10:28pm
I just saw something about integrating this mod with Imperator: Invictus, has this been done or is it even compatible?
Pirosmani99 31 Oct, 2021 @ 8:15am
Hey, I'm working on some tradition trees for another mod and can't figure out how to pair up the trees correctly - I looked through your files and also can't see where they're named together. Could you tell me how the order in which they're displayed is decided?
Doldenberg  [author] 6 Jun, 2021 @ 6:50am
@Baldilocks: Gladio et Sale should have backported all the military tradition changes already; I don't know about the heritages etc. It will probably not be compatible to have both mods because files will overlap and GeS does various cultural redefines.

@Hans_Hackfresse: Sorry for answering late, the unlock should work as in vanilla, there's no special extra setup to unlock the decisions in the changes I made. You can find the vanilla requirements in the Official Wiki.
El Chapo 4 Jun, 2021 @ 8:58am
Can I run this mod with Gladio Et Sale? is it compatible
Hans_Hackfresse 8 May, 2021 @ 8:49am
Hey Devs, thank you for your great work so far, mod is looking god - but im having trouble as pontus, The "Embrace Graeco-Pontic traditions" event dont unlock the decisions for moving my capitol to sinope or embracing the hellenistic pantheon, can you help me?
SpyraGyra 6 May, 2021 @ 6:12pm
@nerdman3000 you should do a teaser mod through Steam, post on Reddit. and whatever other forums to get the word out I'm excited hearing about it.
berry the straw 6 May, 2021 @ 8:11am
@nerdman3000 thats great news
Nerdman3000 4 May, 2021 @ 10:58am
@Doldenberg There's a link to our server in the Imperator Modding Coop.
Doldenberg  [author] 4 May, 2021 @ 8:25am
Do you have a Discord or something where we could discuss this further?
Nerdman3000 3 May, 2021 @ 1:58pm
Hello, a number of community members, including myself, are working on creating a community flavor expansion/overhaul mod for Imperator Rome called Imperator Invictus. Our hope and goal is to try and keep Imperator Rome alive, now that it has been possibly abandoned by Paradox. We wanted to ask you if you would give us permission to integrate your mod into the Imperator Invictus mod, and as well as ask whether or not you would be willing to potentially join us.
Doldenberg  [author] 3 May, 2021 @ 7:24am
Unit models should theoretically be overwritten based on load order; also based on being linked to specific tags (which OWA does) rather than culture groups as is the case here.
DJae 2 May, 2021 @ 6:31pm
Could you release a mod or just the mod files for adding the new heritages and military traditions and leave out the unit model changes? I use old world armory and want to keep the unit models there
Remus117 30 Apr, 2021 @ 11:29am
Awesome work, love it!
Sebastian 30 Apr, 2021 @ 4:22am
nevermind, found out you just have to do it through the kios path. Now that I am here: In the become pontic event I believe I saw that new decisions would become available such as moving the capital to sinope. Now that I am a pontic pontus I dont see these decisions. Is there something I missed?
Sebastian 29 Apr, 2021 @ 12:53pm
Hey, very cool mod. Especially glad with Pontus. I played pontus for a couple of hours but I didnt see an event pop up. Is there something I need to do to make it appear?
Fizbun 15 Apr, 2021 @ 2:32pm
Load order did fix the scrollbar, fonts were black though. It aint an issue
Doldenberg  [author] 15 Apr, 2021 @ 7:33am
@Fizbun: Yeah, I've already assumed that UI mods might lead to some problems; though it could possibly be solved by the load order (although the tradition tab might then look like the vanilla one, idk).
I'd suggest that in such cases, you should ask the UI modders to implement a scrollbar for the traditions tab because it will be a recurring problem for all mods that add new traditions and should not lead to any problems with vanilla traditions.
Fizbun 15 Apr, 2021 @ 5:49am
This mod is incompatible with the Dark UI mod as the tradition page doesnt have a scrollbar on the dark UI mod
Bullet 12 Apr, 2021 @ 7:49am
I'm very excited for Germanic traditions, really sucks with default barbarian tradition, would you also differentiate with Scandinavians and mainland Germanic?
Doldenberg  [author] 9 Apr, 2021 @ 2:42am
Should be, yes.
RedManMoneyz 8 Apr, 2021 @ 8:26am
is this compatible with 2.0.3?
EndsM 1 Apr, 2021 @ 4:42pm
Thank you, I will keep working on this project:coffee:
Doldenberg  [author] 1 Apr, 2021 @ 12:01pm
@EndsM Yes, I'm happy to give you permission.
EndsM 1 Apr, 2021 @ 9:16am
Dear sir,
I'm EndsM from China. As you may noticed that, I'm working on translating imperator mods into simplified chinese.(简体中文)
But what we are doing before are basically did some translation and sent to original makers.
I like this kind of method making translations, but we(some of Chinese paradox players community maintainers) found that this method is not effective to redirect players to find which mod have translation with it.
At this case, we are preparing to make a translation package mod like 鸽组汉化, which can be found here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2131014154
We basically just adding translations in this, no original mods' content included, which means players found translation package mod, must subscribe mod sthey want to play too.
I planed to include your precious mod's translation to our ongoing mod, can you agree with this? I would not integrate this without your approvement.
Doldenberg  [author] 29 Mar, 2021 @ 2:33pm
I have pushed a hotfix for the issue with Celtic tradition unlocks; a bigger content update will arrive in the future.
Gilded Champ 27 Mar, 2021 @ 8:04am
I think I have have a weird bug, but this may be because I subbed to this mod early into 2.0, then Paradox updated their game (sorry if this was already mentioned). As rome I took over the northern neighbors. That should have given me the celtic traditions right? Instead I somehow ended up with Brittanic. Seems super weird that I never even touched the british isles!

As I said though this may have been a really weird interaction with subbing, having a saved game, then the official update dropped.
Janek Deniro 19 Mar, 2021 @ 9:49am
Love this mod, such small things but they give so much flavour to the game. Also it seems that celtic traditions misses "One of" and they cannot be unlocked from ibreric tree.
Doomed World 17 Mar, 2021 @ 5:12pm
could Tibetans the people south of egypt get their own tree as well?
Rabid 17 Mar, 2021 @ 5:07am
Great mod, thanks.
El Chapo 16 Mar, 2021 @ 7:33am
alright is there any way you could make this mod compatiable with Gentes Mundi: Fanfork??
Doldenberg  [author] 15 Mar, 2021 @ 2:03pm
It's currently only using the Dacian model from Old World Armoury, all the other models are from Call to Arms.
El Chapo 15 Mar, 2021 @ 8:40am
wow so Call to Arms and Old World Armoury are included in this mod and I wont need to run them seperatly?? thats awesome
Doldenberg  [author] 13 Mar, 2021 @ 8:16am
I'm not really planning to do that, sorry.
Basileus Basileon 11 Mar, 2021 @ 5:25pm
This might have been suggested to you already, but putting Etruscan and related cultures into their own group would be a pleasant change.
Doldenberg  [author] 10 Mar, 2021 @ 2:24pm
Another quick update: I just ported the entirety of Call to Arms: The Ancient World by Graf Nepomuk to this mod. The Illyrian and Thracian models there were made with The Forgotten in mind and I really like the pack as whole, so in addition to now having proper Illyrian models, you get all the other awesome models as a bonus. :) You can see a full overview of them on the mods page, linked in the description above.

Should the Scythians have gender equality? My only source is The Histories so I could be wrong and it took place a few centuries before the time of the game, but Herodotus said only a specific tribe gave women more power (his explaination that they mixed with runaway enslaved amazonians), and he specifically said that this one tribe was more equal than the other tribes. Also, possibly the most infamous Scythian being a women resulted from the fact that her husband, the king, died, not that gender equality was a thing.

Any plans for Sabaens, Hadramut, Aksum (Yemen/Ethiopia/Horn of Africa) Region - Super interesting area, and almost always forgotten about by bloody every game that bothers to include it. I'm already well researched in the region, and good with writing in code - just not good at making new code, but if you'd ever like a hand - I'd be happy to try.
Doldenberg  [author] 9 Mar, 2021 @ 1:25pm
Hey, I just updated the mod for 2.0.2. Tell me if you see any weird bugs. :)
Doomed World 8 Mar, 2021 @ 3:12pm
Can you give Levant Nubia and Ethopia its own shared traditions to since they use so many archer but have no way to buff them up
Doomed World 8 Mar, 2021 @ 3:10pm
YES! ive been hoping for a mod splits up Iberians , Dacians and Illyerians into their own traditons and they Scythian heritage change is icing on the cake. Could you give samintes their own heritage well you are at it. It odd to me that Etruscans have one and Samintes do not.

Doldenberg  [author] 7 Mar, 2021 @ 3:58pm
@Johnnyshock00: Thanks for the praise and yes, the immediate plan is to do Germania next. I don't have a concrete plan for Britannia yet, but I'm already moving towards adjusting that as well. E.g. I've already removed the Britannic into Punic embracement because I want Britannic to become less of a "Celtic 2"-group. To embrace Punic as Celtic you now have to go through Iberian first, which is just a more logical path. Germanic will definitely have some exchange with Britannic, so if you want to do Anglo-Saxon Britain way too early, that will be an option.
Doldenberg  [author] 7 Mar, 2021 @ 3:58pm
@San Felipe: I didn't really fully understand your post, sorry. Do you mean more cities at game start? Do you mean more missions that create cities in tribal regions? I might eventually get into mission trees, but right now my focus is still on filling out the "easy" gaps like heritages and traditions.
About buildings: personally I don't see the issue though I guess that certain buildings should be possible to built on more resources (e.g. farming on Olives), but buildings aren't really within the scope of the mod right now, sorry. Building mods should work with it though unless they're doing some crazy stuff with cultures and traditions.
About Cyrenaica - sorry, didn't understand that at all, which mission tree are you referring to, what's the problem with it?
About Coloniae - I think they improve the pop assimilation in a city and give a bunch of other stuff?
Doldenberg  [author] 7 Mar, 2021 @ 3:58pm
Hey everyone, I just pushed an update that should adress various localization errors, bugs and balancing issues. :) As promised, it also introduced updated localization for the embracement requirements and embracement into the new traditions.
You can view all the changes in the changelog.
If you don't see any update, try unsubscribing and resubscribing.

I want to thank everyone who has subscribed to the mod, and especially those who have brought my attention to various issues, it's never possible to catch everything by yourself, so your feedback helps a lot.
Johnnyshock00 7 Mar, 2021 @ 2:59pm
This is singlehandedly the most essential mod for Imperator. Flavor is the spice of life, and this mod makes interesting a blanket of bland cultures. Do Germannic and flesh out hibernian and brittanic later!
Darth Modus - God of Richards 7 Mar, 2021 @ 9:26am
Could you make it an option so we can add our own cities to the map using your mod? I feel Iberia and Gaul do not have enough cities, even with the missions. For example, there's not even a mission to form Barcelona or develop Galicia? Also, can you fix the coast of Libya near Cyrenaicia so that we can activate the mission even though the Kingdom of Cyrene no longer exists? Finally, could you possibly add more resource specific buildings or clear up the vanilla ones because it doesn't make sense being able to build certain building over specific resources such as barracks over olives etc. Also, what do Colonias even do, I mean seriously? As always, PDX releases something rushed for money, without even bothering to clarify certain aspects of the game. Looking forward to seeing what more this mod can offer.
