Please be aware gentlemen, I added this mod to my colony a while ago, and later I found out it was crashing my save regularly. If you are thinking about subscribing I would avoid it for the time being.

All respect to the author though. The art is fantastic.

Is the flaw game-breaking, or just an inconvenience? I'd love to try out this mod, but not if it risks breaking my save

I noticed a fundamental flaw with how I designed the mod. At the time, it would've have been too expensive and time consuming to fix. The mod needs to be rewritten, but I need time to learn C++ to do that.

Hum hello i know this mod is discontinued but i have a problem. I have a pawn with both the heavy monosword and gardian shield however when i activate the gardian shield and get in melee range the monosword completely dissapears is there anything i can do to stop that?

@Ochi it's a vanilla issue : if you have an archotech arm the game considers you don't have hands anymore. Use Medical System Expansion mod

im having a weird problem with the guardian shield not letting me put it on someone because they're "missing the body parts" for it. but the colonist isn't missing anything, has bionic and archotech body parts even.

Fun issue I found on my end. An enemy arrived with a Guardian Shield and funnily enough, I could turn *his* shield off with a toggle widget that appeared on his character.

Great mod but the heavy weapons that require powered armor can be picked up without powered armor with Simple Sidearms. Please add mod options to disable powered armor requirement.

Weird. I checked my db.json file after reading your comments and it doesn't have a legobricks dependency but when I load rimpy it still says it does.

I have fixed Rimpy showing an error by going to its db.json file, opening it in notepad and searching "legobrick" until i hit the heavy melee weapon mod, there it still lists legobricks as a dependency so i simply deleted that one and it doesnt show an error now

same, rimpy still sees legobricks as a dependancy, if you right click and selecting "Modify/share sorting rule" and show details it shows "should be loaded after VEF, legobricks, Royalty" in the Modder based ruleset that is based on "SteamDB,About and Manifest rules"

I've unsubbed and resubbed multiple times, verified files, restarted steam etc and I'm still getting those rimpy dependency warnings.

I've tried unsubbing and resubbing to both this mod and the VE framework, but it is still listing a dependency for lego bricks on both rimpy and the in game mod manager. Are there any issues that could come from that? or should it be fine?

seeing as legobricks is now obsolete, do we still need it to be enabled for this mod or can we ignore the prereqs?

Legobricks is now obsolte, integrated into the VE framework.

The way you hold the heavy monosword is a little bit weird... I think the colonist might hold it as normal monosword.

for some reason this mod makes it so my pawns wont pick up and weapons or apparel i only have like 10mods so it wasnt hard to find which one was doing it

@Maladictus The Guardian Shield is currently coded as a shield belt that can held like a shield even though it occupies the utility slot. This was done for the sake of convenience, but I'll try to address this in the 1.3 update.

I don't fully understand the guardian shield. It seems to use Vanilla Expanded's code base for shields, but is not equipped on the same spot as Vanilla Expanded's shields. Does that mean it's something else? Would it make sense to be able to equip both a guardian shield and another shield simultaneously?
