Could you possibly share what you did to get the Loadout Everywhere mod to work in a zone? I'm trying to use POLPOX's loadout mod for milsim missions and was wondering how to get it to work for our scenario's in base. Any help would be appreciated.

You wait until you see a message that says "Repairs complete".
I haven't changed anything with the mission for more than a year, and IIRC the time to repair is based on the damage that you have taken.

Also, I'm not able to repair my jet at the airfield... I can only refuel and rearm

How do I repair/rearm/refuel on the carrier?

I noticed that there is a message at the bottom when I first take off: "Player refueling, rearming, etc..."

I figured that all I have to do is simply attempt to take off and my jet would automatically be fully RRR'd, but, that's not the case.

Enemy jets can lock me much earlier than i can. Is it depends on view distance? Or that jets ( shikra and black wasp ) have stealth versions? I see targets on my radar, but i can't lock them with "R".

I could potentially do something do make the mission easier. However, development on this is not my priority atm.

I started up the mission to check what had happened to you, and it honestly seems that you just got a bit unlucky with the spawn.
If an enemy fighter spawns the closest that it can spawn, then it would be really difficult to avoid getting shot.

I am having some trouble with being engaged right after taking off. I take off and instantly a mere 4 kilometers away an enemy fighter jet spawns. Before I even have time to turn my nose in their general direction, they've fired two missiles. In the original mission, enemies would spawn at random points across the map, giving me the chance to quickly orient myself. While there certainly are more capable players than me who could take this on easily, it is frankly impossible for me to survive more than 60 seconds. It would be nice if this could be managed as a sort of difficulty setting.

FYI, Pylon changes on carrier do not work if you have ACE since ACE looks for a rearm vehicle no matter what, maybe place one on the carrier?

Problem resolved after much testing, cook off settings seem un-important, what MUST be changed is in ACE's "Advanced Vehicle Damage", "Enabled" must be unchecked and to ensure it persists across restarts of the game, check "Overwrite Mission" on the right of the "Enable" option.

BOOM, works like a charm again, no issues with vehicle destruction.

Update: I dont know if this is weapon related, seems like even vanilla rockets sometimes do not kill the vehicle (even after dumping all rockets on it), they can only disable it.

Hey,

Really amazing mission file, exactly what I wanted, but I seem to be having an issue when using ACE 3 AGMs. I tried disabling all the cook off settings, but it appears even after disabling, the vehicles still can't be "destroyed" for the task triggers to complete.

I understand if you do not have the time or if this is an unresolvable issue, but I would just like if possible to be able to use some of ACE's additions to aircrafts. In the video you will see that I tried ACE AGMs, but ended up switching to extra ARMA 3 / RHS (Unknown where from) AGMs I had which was able to destroy the vehicle.

learned to fly to mastering the black wasp on this map. but would you please consider adding a air spawn respawning on a airfield can be a little jarring when you are low and slow after takeoff.:steamthumbsup:

My only suggestion then is to disable all unnecessary mods and try again.
You won't need to go to an ammo truck to resupply. I made a script that takes care of re-fuelling, re-arming and repairing. The script is active in a quite big zone around where your aircraft spawns.

I have it downloaded and the dependencies, the scroll wheel does not work, the PLE mod says "You need to resupply from Ammo Truck or something." and I see no ammo truck when I go near the resupply point. the context menu is the scroll wheel right?

If you have downloaded the Plane Loadout Everywhere mod and its dependencies, you will be able to edit your loadout from the context menu.

The mod you recommended doesnt work with your scenario. You dont have anywhere to change the loadout. Did you even think of that??

You can find it in the "Scenarios" section under the singleplayer tab in the main menu.

Hello, I am looking forward to playing this workshop content, however, I seem unable to download this properly. I have subscribed multiple times and have been unable to find this in the 'MOD' section on my ARMA 3 launcher. Could anyone help me? It states the file size is only 0.085 MB, is this correct?

If you've got the new Vietnam DLC, you should definitely port this mission over to the map if you've got the time! It's awesome and would be amazing to play this mission on it.

I would like to suggest a way to select the enemy faction that the mission will pull vehicles from. That way if I wanted to play with modded aircraft from say the Vietnam era, they aren't going up against threats from 2035.

If thats too much work I understand, otherwise i've been enjoying myself with this! thanks!

Is there an option to skip the current mission? For example, fighting armored AA while using a Pawnee just doesn't make sense. I'd rather practice on soft skin targets.

Thing is, the destroyer (USS Liberty) is actually not a vehicle. It's a structure.
And it can't really be destroyed either. I jumped into a A-10 and shot it with the cannon, missiles and dropped bombs on it, just do be sure, and nothing happened.

Do you mean boats? AFAIK there are only two types of boats that can act as targets ant therefore I didn't even think about adding them

"Made improvements to the scrollbar in the GUI" this saves me headaches when browsing through my many planes because I have vanilla, CUP, USAF, firewill, and other mod planes installed.
