Great mod. Certainly solves my frustration with the fact that legionaries don't seem to have centurions in vanilla. Even though the bloody Caesar in Gaul DLC was promoted with a picture of Caesar riding ahead of a unit of legionaries lead by a centurion.

Great mod but.... My Praetorian Guard (Imperial) do have a chainmail Centurion and it seems kinda random sometimes. It also happens with Auxilliary units and standard Legionaire Cohort.

Either chainmail or Segmenta.

Could you do a reskin of Roman cavalry officers as well?

Will this work with "Romans in the field"?

Two things that should are the optio (centurions second) , and the cornicen i think its called (the horn blower)

Centurians didnt wear segmentia they wore chainmail with their many honours displayed on them

hmm, further research indicated pretty much all roman soldiers were required to have bronze greaves up until some point.. funny in the vanilla game like no roman soldiers have greaves... so lame

centurions for every unit type should have greaves,,, after researching for 5 minutes I think its historically accurate.. lol

well i must say its better than shit CA textures its like they crammed everything together yano to say they're experts

Really cool always felt it made no sense the centurion having chainmail while most of his men were wearing segmanta also I'd venture much like a legate the centurion could wear whatever he damn well pleased if he could afford to buy better armor he would

@Lord Martholomew - It is technically possible, but unfeasible as I have not the skill to use the tools to gain the desired effect :(

@Romulus - It is CiG compatible and should work with Kaziel's stuff.

And also, how does it work with Kaziel's Romans?

@Lord Martholomew - Interestingly I made this about two months ago using Drazan's crest. I couldn't get in contact with him though, so no way to get his permission to make the mod public. With the SaW update CA fixed the original crests so I was finally able to make in public! So unfortunately, as I can't contact Drazan, I won't use his work without permission. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sweet! this is a really awesome mod just like usual, i think i have almost all your mods! It makes the centurion distinguished but he still fits in line with the rest of the men. If its not a problem, i would like to make a small request... im torn between your centurion mod and Drazens (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=206826675) Becuase i love how yours has the centurion in segmentata but i do like the helmet of drazens... is there anyway a combination mod can be made? Your centurion model with the helmet from drazens or like a set up where sometimes it spawn with your helmet and sometimes his larger one so there is like a cool variation? If not that cool just means im going to have to make a decision xD

@Lyckan - At the moment it does not affect artillery officers. However that is a great idea that I completely forgot about! I'll look into how best to do something for them without making this less compatible.

Does it affect the Artillery commanders? I hate how they all are early republic armored... Great mod!
