A repair bay and console are handy and can be placed where the 'R's are located on the top landing pad and inside the production room.

After all your upgrading, don't forget to auto-group the new ungrouped devices in the 'p menu so that you can still control the entire base through the 'p menu. Understanding your 'p menu and its settings takes time but is a (PRO tip). Keeping devices off when not being used saves a tremendous amount of fuel and allows the solar capacitors to charge. The entire base and all modules' containers should be reachable through Wi-Fi.

I am updating this for 1.8+ soon - will have 24 solar panels and a written upgrade path :steamhappy:.

I should have left a message on a wall inside, sorry.

There are places along the wall by the furnaces where you can place additional cores - you may have to move some décor. I believe there is space for up to 8 Advanced constructors along the ceiling. I would upgrade 1 additional core, at a time, to see if that gives you the CPU that you desire.

4 more furnaces or turrets can be placed outside underneath the main landing pad. A shield is placeable inside the violet concrete box beneath the main station - there is a door. I don't place one myself because I am safe near the sun also you could place additional furnace here(same size).

If places within 3AU(distance) from sun, the station will never run out of power. If the devs mess with the mechanics to make the game even harder, then more solar panels will be required. But I don't think they will. Thanx.

I really like the idea of that kind of a modular base jou could do part at the time. I was wondering what station and upgrade goes to the leeter "R" spot where the crafting sations are located? And onother question... If I runn all the furnaces and crafting station does the solar power is enough from the panels or should I then add more. (placing near the sun where trade station is located in starter system)

Great work! Love how forward thinking this base is as well as I think more and more people are going to use carriers in the future and JRandell has set the benchmark of what dimensions modules will be at. Love this station leaves somewhere to repair and store extra modules. Well done! :)
