Yes, that's fine :)

So, if I use an engine from that series on my submarine or train, etc., I can upload it if I include a link, right?
Kahrstrom  [author] 3 Nov, 2022 @ 2:55pm
This engine is a bit outdated unfortunately, uses an old cooling system that doesn't work particularly well. I recommend that you check out one of my newer engines :) I'll see if I can update some of my older engines, but it's tricky to fit my newer cooling systems into old engines so it'd take quite a lot of redesigning.

experiancing random overheats like water isnt flowing though the engine
Kahrstrom  [author] 30 Oct, 2021 @ 10:24am
Yes, any modular engine with a proper ECU will.
OdorousWo1f 30 Oct, 2021 @ 10:10am
will this work with fluid pumps for more power?
Kahrstrom  [author] 9 Oct, 2021 @ 7:45am
Nope, sorry. I haven't made any super small engine. Might make an airplane engine some day, but that'll be a later project if so, I have way too many projects going on right now anyways haha
phillydopey 9 Oct, 2021 @ 7:30am
do have any engine compact to fit in plane
Kahrstrom  [author] 9 Oct, 2021 @ 6:20am
That is correct Night Raider. The fluid ports there take in the air directly from the engine room, but you can obviously connect a pipe there as well.

may i request something
Night Raider 7 Oct, 2021 @ 1:13pm
so just to confirm the air intake would be were the modified airfilters would be right?
Komrade aka Würfel 25 Aug, 2021 @ 5:38am
Its broken. The exhaust cuts off to 0% after it runs for 6 secs.

Sadly I'm also experiencing overheating when using this wonderful engine. Are you planning to fix this? Thanks in advance!
Popeye 25 Jun, 2021 @ 7:21am
i hate to be that guy, but running this at only 7 rpm im still overheating...
MKS 24 Jun, 2021 @ 1:34pm
Wasn't you planning on making a generator version of this engine?
YeeoleSwsh 23 Jun, 2021 @ 12:20pm
how do I make it blow up? thinking of making a sinkable boat with these engines
Kahrstrom  [author] 2 May, 2021 @ 9:11am
Ah, good to hear it wasn't anything new then! Thanks for taking the time to report it in anyways, it's much appreciated!
MKS 2 May, 2021 @ 7:49am
I now see that i had the version you first published even tought i loaded it throught the selection grid menu recently. Unsubscribe and Subscribe again fixes it. My bad
Kahrstrom  [author] 2 May, 2021 @ 5:53am
Make sure you are using the latest version. Earlier versions had an issue where the decorational fuel and air manifolds that were connected to the engine but not recieving any fuel or air were slowing down the engine. This has since been patched. I'll double check that I didn't miss anything.

If the engine is slowly dying, you may have missed to hook up the exhaust, as the exhaust will slowly fill up and when there is no space left for it, the engine will die.

It seem like there is a problem with the KM6360, Ive tested it for a while for generating electricity for my Diesel-Electric propulsion. Ive tested KM4340 with same gear ratio with success, KM6360 will slowly stop and is no way near to be able to generate as much power as KM4340. There must be a problem since it should be more powerful. Great collection btw, my goto engines for all new ships i build:steamthumbsup:

Generator - 2:1 > 2:1 > KM4340/KM6360
Kahrstrom  [author] 22 Apr, 2021 @ 9:37am
I'll double check that it works fine for me when I get some time later. Make sure you have everything connected and you are starting it properly. The version I uploaded worked just fine for me last I checked.
harbor freight 5 gallon bucket 21 Apr, 2021 @ 2:08pm
i have the same issue and it doesnt work for me with them off either
Kahrstrom  [author] 18 Apr, 2021 @ 4:33am
Not sure why that's the case, I never play with those enabled as they only cause weird issues and I see no real point to them. Turn them off and you'll be fine :)

@Braveheart Double-check all connections - make sure it really does get air, fuel and exhaust and that you connected the correct ones to each other and didn't mix them up. Make sure you are spawning the correct fuel type in your fuel tank. To solve issues, you must always determine which part is causing the issue. Is the engine actually recieving air and fuel into the manifolds?
Timtime_7000 18 Apr, 2021 @ 3:34am
I have found the error for some reason all of the Kahrstrom engines do not work when infinite fuel and electricity are turned on.
Timtime_7000 17 Apr, 2021 @ 12:49pm
Same it does not work I have followed all steps
Braveheart 16 Apr, 2021 @ 1:39pm
Cant get this badboy to start, connected fuel and exhaust but the engine just dies after releasing the starter, even after the red light has gone out, if you want to check it out and see whats wrong with my setup that would be cool

Thanks for the kind words! I'm working on some smaller engines as well indeed, got a pretty nice looking V8 coming up that should be quite universal. Love the ship you've got!
Mosku 7 Apr, 2021 @ 1:08pm
This engine looks so F*** cool, I'm using 2 of these in my creation. (Of course I linked this as a requirement, and credited your work.) Are you possibly working on 1x1 I motors, I would love to see one in my creation, as a "starter" motor. Here's a link to my WIP project: Link
Kahrstrom  [author] 5 Apr, 2021 @ 1:36am
I haven't got any vehicle engines planned at the moment, but it's not impossible that I might go that route some time. My smaller engines that I'm working on right now should be possible to retrofit for use on land vehicles as well.
LieutenantWolf 4 Apr, 2021 @ 5:19pm
will Kahrstrom Marine branch out to build vehicle engines?
Kahrstrom  [author] 31 Mar, 2021 @ 11:29am
That's the plan, yes :D I've got a couple of models, but I'm not 100% happy with them, they're both slightly older ones that I never released. Might rework them a bit and release!
AndreaUSMC 31 Mar, 2021 @ 9:00am
Are you working also on a 1x1 naval engine? Bc this 3x3 are really big for my submarine :steammocking::steammocking:
Kahrstrom  [author] 30 Mar, 2021 @ 10:16am
Thanks, appreciate it!
Beano75 30 Mar, 2021 @ 8:42am
This looks fantastic
