If the engine is slowly dying, you may have missed to hook up the exhaust, as the exhaust will slowly fill up and when there is no space left for it, the engine will die.

@Braveheart Double-check all connections - make sure it really does get air, fuel and exhaust and that you connected the correct ones to each other and didn't mix them up. Make sure you are spawning the correct fuel type in your fuel tank. To solve issues, you must always determine which part is causing the issue. Is the engine actually recieving air and fuel into the manifolds?
