@ReadyForTheDevil
Build 42 support has been addressed, please refrain from spamming. This will not bring b42 support any quicker.
Read the FAQ in the Discussions.
@Maceika - Allkeyshop
It should be working just fine on the latest stable build of 41. If it still isn't working, please try making a server with only this mod enabled. If it still doesn't work- feel free to let us know!
Is this using Build 42? Or is this still Build 41? I am aware that Firearms (previously Firearms B41) has had updates - but I am less aware of the changes that have occurred with Gunfighter 2
It's not officially supported, but it's already on the enhancement/new feature list!
That's not to say it isn't "unofficially" supported somewhat. If VFE uses or left some of the item names in the code intact then those have a change of working. However I will warn since it's not officially supported the interactions of Easypacking & VFE might be odd, or cause item loss or crashes.
Alright! Added to the enhanced features list!
Please check the FAQ in the Discussions.
I'll add it to the things to be checked for b42 support thanks for that information!
See the FAQ in the discussions.
Vanilla Firearms Expansion has been in the enhancements list since Sept 2024. As with all other requests it'll be noted and at some point in the future it might be supported!
That code could be redundant - I am not thoroughly familiar with the zomboid lua API. I may take a look into this at some point in the future. As for the seeing recipes always showing up, it's not something I tested -but something I can look into as well. It'll be added to the list to check up on when I can!
I'll add it to the enhancements that could be developed in the future!
I believe corn is packed via 6 cans, so you should see at least pack 6 if you have at least 6 in your inventory - also make sure they aren't favorited!
not everything packs into a clean 5 or 10 - there are various ones that pack in different ways so experiment!
let me know if that helps/works!
I don't get any error either, I am playing on the lastest B41, is there something I'm doing wrong?
I looked up VFE Vanilla Firearms - It's level of support with Easypacking will depend on if the mod developer changed any ammo names. You could do some testing yourself to see how well it works or doesn't work. I don't believe it will crash saves to have Easypacking + VFE Vanilla Firearms BUT with that said do of course still backup your save or make a test save first to confirm - hope it helps!
Here is a short lesson in Project Zomboid mods, see here on the workshop mods have a Mod ID. When you see something like 'firearmmod' required... it's not actually the name of the mod but the mod's ID. You can usually still use workshop to search around for the most popular match to those terms. You'll see that your search terms match the bottom of the description where Zomboid adds the ID during upload.
So be aware the name of the mod you are looking for won't match up directly to firearmmod.

Also be aware EasyPacking is standalone and requires no other mods. The ones you are enabling are 'addons' to the original mod. Be VERY aware that using all addons together is not recommended as the mods the addons DO REQUIRE will most likely conflict with each other.
Have fun! Hope this helps.
See my reply to C-7 below.
@Shadow
No Goldbar is doing fine and is busy working & with life. It was mandatory military service, that is all.
They just pack, no spawns atm.

I believe I had stated before, currently we will not be supporting unstable 42, I feel this is a fools errand in that there will be bug-fixes and changes for quite some time. Expect and update on this decision a month or two into the next year.
Thanks for everyone's patience, happy holidays, and have some fun in b42!
Thanks all for loving and subscribing to EasyPacking. I am glad we can support a large subscriber base with content you all enjoy, and I apologize that development cannot be constant. Further patience is appreciated!
That's good to know, thanks for checking that for me. Currently I believe both me & Goldbar are busy with other things to be working directly or (quickly) on any particular thing for this mod.
I know soon unstable is coming, and while I am sure many mods will branch off to start working on an unstable version, I will be clear as things currently are (irl events, holidays, and news from the devs about Unstable 42)
Unstable will not be supported for quite some time; This is for a multitude of reasons, especially given Unstable 42 will be missing multiplayer, and bugs will most definitely be prevalent in the first few weeks. I can reassess this most likely by January and give another update on plans.
@Luna The Dummy
I will check if splints are in the mod already ASAP, but until I can do that I will add it to the feature enhancement tracker/issues with the rest of the suggest content for later development.
I wouldn't know without downloading it and having a look at it's code. I imagine if revamped quite a bit, it would be as much work as it was to support the original B41 Firearms.
However there is a chance it would be easier if they left a lot of the ammo items names and a few other bits alone as they were before.
I will, like other requests... add this to the requested features for later possible development.
This is unintended behavior if so, see; the requirements are to keep you from having bugs.
just use EasyPacking for Vanilla, the addons are the ones that require other mods to work.
There is no requirement! Easypacking is a standalone mod, please understand the other additions are 'addons' that patch other mods to allow them to easily pack as well.
The two addons made so far are for two entirely different weapon mods. In fact, I would guess that having both weapon mods enabled would cause bugs.
So please feel free to just use Easypacking, and if you already use one of those weapon mods and want Easypacking to support it then feel free to enable the addon.
