@acymetric, in short, this is a rough fix that returns ships back to their sectors every time one of them enters an inhabited sector.
As for attacks (i.e. participation in an invasion fleet), I don't know in what cases this could happen.
The only case that could happen earlier is the ship's retaliation to an aggression while it flies from the sector of construction to the home sector.

Did the "roam fix" August update fix the issue some commenters mentioned with these fleets being included in attacks? I want to use this but am using some other Xenon buffs and that would probably be overkill.

they go on attack Ive seen. since installing the TRI in my game have lost Faulty logic I to Xenon and also on the north west part of map xenon took another sector

Those fleets that are supposed to protect the Xenon sectors go on the attack.

@zonumx4. I don't think your will achieve your goal. When the xenons have lost their core sector, then it's too late. This mod can only help protect the rest.

So question on this mod. If i want to per say torment the factions which have conquered xenon sectors. Can i install this and let all hell break loose with them, then remove it and let them deal with that nice chaos?

This mod has made the xenon unable to kill anything. They are fucking useless. I sent a bunch of my old miners to attack them.....its been an hour and my 100 medium miners havent lost a single ship and have nearly killed a defence station. I even cheated and spawned in a few hunded small xenon fighters.....they cant kill anything!!!

for the defense stations it's fine.

on the other hand when you see the xenon ships teleporting and bypassing your stations to go camping the jump gates by knocking down all your ships, some of which cost 20 million minimum credit there it starts to be difficult.

(for teleportation I saw them do ...)

It happens out of nowhere, you even have xenon ships that completely ignore certain sectors and cross them unimpeded to come and camp in certain places and given the speed at which they destroy your ships.

after as i said i also use another mod which removes the resource drop from asteroid fields and therefore they have a huge amount of resources to produce. , the xenon death waves start at around 24 hours of playtime and I'm not talking about the slowness of station building due to scarce resources.

But again I prefer this to the completely dead universe of 4.00

@tim.....Defence stations bro. design them right and they can erase a fleet of 100+ xenon fighters in seconds and seconds later have the XLs scrapped.

Im using this mod now since it got released and can say that it makes fun^^ Even if the mods goal is only to make the xenon controlled systems more alived due to higher defence fleet, the xenon started way more often to attack other space. So after a time the xenon overrun even argon prime and basically all systems arround the main area where the highway is. Only terraner and par are able to defend them against the xenon. I sometimes see single I or K flying arround, but also often see hole fleets of xenon. Mostly they are somewhere between 1-4I + 2-8 K, but also had a fleet with nearly 10i and 20k which attacked one of my deffstation which controllend the entry of a systemand destroyed there 3 asgards + halfe of the station.

D55 I also play with a mod that removes the drop in resources of asteroids, look on the workshop in my part they are death incarnate, I also have a mod that modifies the behavior of factions to make them more aggressive in war. tests can be these mods but I warn you: without unlimited money I really do not see how to repel xenons.

@tim, This mod directly does not spawn anythhing. Only adds new jobs. This can interfere with the operation of another mod (xen Q is not vanilla), causing new behavior. Something like "as long as the sectors are safe, more ships can be used for invasions".

I started a new game with this mod and im in to day 5+ and all the Xenon do is camp their own sectors, i barely see a Xenon cap ship raiding and when i do they dont last long enough for me to get to them.
I want to see the universe burn so i can attempt to save it, ive just closed the game down in frustration and will probably leave it for another 6-10 months in the hope there might be some end-game (not the anti climax that is terraforming).
In its current state i feel like poking it and saying "do something".

the problem is that I have the impression that the mod continues to spawn i, k and q in sectors that they no longer control.

@D55, Possible - yes. Version of my mod - no. You can try another mod [www.nexusmods.com].
What you want is increased rate of "FactionGoal_SurgicalStrike", not "FactionGoal_Invade_Space" (just for information as far as I remember it). But the goal of my mod is completely exclude new fleets from the faction logic.

Is it possible for a version where they start raiding more often, not for sector take overs just hit and run until stopped as in target a specific station or fleet in a sector then move on until they reach another xenon area or are destroyed.
I would love to see them be more of a menace.

I must say, this is a must have mod. Previously, X4 become just boring once you complete plots and build lots of stations. Taking over sectors from teladi or paranids is not that hard and xenon are wiped by lizards and holy order long before you can launch full scale attack on xenon core sectors.
Now xenon were able to retake their sectors and you're trully the only hope of the galaxy. In my current run, Frontier Edge is the graveyard of I's and K's and I have to rebuild the station guarding the border and personally help repelling the invasion. That's how it should have been originally by Egosoft.

@原骸天, It's possible, but not necessarily. Depends on the tags attached to these ships (like [military, carrier] and [military, destroyer] ).

ok I have checked my extensions folder and your file is there called xenons_reconfig with 3 items in it content ext_01 and ext_01.dat. Is this correct? Its strange because on the steam downloads it says i have 2 items to download but its not downloading. and its not in my subscribed list

@Min, As an author, I am in different conditions, I can't recheck.
Possibly a dependency issue, both DLC and FEWM mod must be enabled ingame.

haha thats i want to pille but no this mod isnt doing this^^ They finally spawned at my game too. Found in nearly each system they are controlling 5-10 k and I, or fleets of 50-100 s/M. But i also found something other. Currently are arround 3 i and 8 K camping the gate between hatikvas decission and silent witnesser (hope that are the right english names) and destroying everything bigger than M which want to pass there haha. Beside that regularly ks moving from Getsu fune to hatikva through the systems and doing some damage to everything arround while they are moving

Is this the Xenon Threat mod i´ve been waiting for? I want the Xenon to be the Universe destroying threat they were always meant to be. I want them to take over sectors, to crush the weak biological lifeforms, like the insects they are. The player should be the only thing, that stands between total annihilation :D

@Andy, In my games immediately after loading. Actually, I marked all new jobs as "BuildAtShipyard=true", but the game engine decided to spawn them initially. Maybe in your game they will be built slowly.

Another Question: the spawns will get triggered after 24h gametime right? How fast do they spawn then? Still very empty in my xenonsystems :D

I want to have both^^ Higher thread from xenon attacks, aswell better defence for there systeme (what this mod is doing). Thats why i asked for a seperated mod for more/stronger xenoattacks (if you know a good mod which do this and already exist it would be nice too)

@Andy. 1. Yes, first, weaker, System Analysts can spawn in any xenon owned sector.
2. I'm sure I have already seen something like this - screenshot with hundreds of xenons flooding faction sector.
And I don't want that. I like fragile balance where factions can resist xenons without my intervention. But, when I want to raid xenon, I expect more than one lone K defending entire core sector.

Hi mate^^ It really sounds interessting and i also installed the mod and looking forward to see what will happen at 24h gametime when all they spawn. But also have a question/idea:

1. Will that patrollfleets also spawn for systems the xenon conquered from other ai?
2. Im searching since longer time for a mod which makes the xenon a way higher thread for the universe, without changing a lot other stuff from other ai. Is it possible to make another mod which leads to more and bigger attacks from the xenon?
