I'll still need to get some games in, but I'll likely try and balance weapons on X per 10 models or something like that. Give an alternate or two for base weapons and then let the rest be "Heavy Weapons" for the squad. I worry about bloating the covie unit roster with variants like the Ranged vs Melee Warriors. As there are already so many races of troops. But we'll see what I have to end up doing. Though Banshees are 100% doing flybys. IDK if it's gonna be a Stratagm or a base ability. But they will be bombing fools.
As for fliers actually helping, it'll be a rough cookie to crack. Mostly just has to be balanced in point costs. Would be nice to see Vampires 'stun' units in the air kinda like the Pheonix in Starcraft 2 and Banshees dropping bombs and doing flybys.
But as far as flying Titans go, I could theoretically go for something like a Covie Corvette. But those things are over 900 meters long, rather than the few dozen meters long most Titans are in 40K. So I'm not sure what would fill a Flying Titan role. Other than maybe that up sized Phantom thing from Halo 4? (You may have been able to tell, but there's not much 343 stuff here)
Damn, I'mma need to get some games in from 10th edition to figure out what the balance feels like now adays. I've not really played sense 8th. Only did like 1 game of 9th. Hey, is Wargear still free in 10th edition? The concept of balancing free wargear is rather intimidating. XD
Now that the Main Prowler body is done with both attachments, the various stages of crew on the Clan Carrier, and the weapon variants should move by relatively quickly.
What do you guys think should be present for Covenant's Air Roster? What role would you have it fill? To anyone who does respond, Thanks for your time and thoughts.
Anyone got good ideas for the turret? I was playing with going with some kind of Skewer or Brute Shot Variant.
On the bright side tho, All I've got left until the rulebook is finishing the Prowlers, Do the locusts, and Engineers. And then Scarabs...... Then I have to figure out what air units to use. Likely Banshees and Phantoms. But all in all I'm actually getting near the end of this Great Journey.

Oh, we also have a little aquarium now. My partner has been getting the parts together for a small tank for awhile. So we have a small tank with a few micro fish, shrimp, and snails. We just got the shrimp a few days ago, and they're settling in nicely. She's very happy about the little guys. So life has been good. It's been tight, cause that's the cost of ambition, but good. Thanks for asking.
This vehicle will do well racing out to objectives to establish a forward position with defenses and some infantry. Then either sticking around to support the fight or running to the back lines to load up and do it again.
Also, thank you!
A great mod by the way, keep it up
Jeez I feel bad

With appropriate credit of course!
Wraith and AAWraith variants for Grunts, Jackals, Elites, and Brutes completed.
Brutes won't get Ghosts, they'll get their Choppers next.
