one other problem -- there seem to be A -- no recruitment buildings outside the amber glade. is that by design? And also -- no building gives a cap for bloodhawk riders or bloodwood scouts. So I am limited, mostly, to one army, and some units cannot be recruited at all.

Hey I cannot currently recruit agents -- it says "TEST" at the moment though three types do show up. Are they not done yet in the base mod or is it a bug?

just try with the unlocker and amber kingdom. No SFO. I need to know if the bug is actually with this submod or the main mod.

Honestly I don't know what could be causing that. Test it only using the base mod and its requirements and see if it CTDs then.

@BliVru I have same problem with you. In my opinion, orginal mod is bata now, so the construction chain in Black Tower of Arkham is not yet completed. maybe?

I'm having a CTD when anexing the Black Tower of Arkham.
Anyone else got this error? Unfortunately I have so many mods that I can't confirm is just this one.

Campaign effects and techs are probably making a lot of stuff *much* stronger than they are. I will review amber guard though, and make sure there are no discrepancies.

I just fought Kroq'gar and manage to get one AG glaive unit to 1 vs 1 a unit of temple guards. The temple guards totally butchered them. They had better stats literally on everything: more hp, more armor, more MA and MD, MUCH more leadership, more WS. Sad thing is: they cost basically the same and the temple guard has more units.
Not hating, I really appreciate your work! Just trying to help balancing it.

The mod is supposedly up to date. Maybe there's something not applaying buffs, techs, etc correctly to them? I just fought a WE army. My bloodscouts had 45 ranged damage, with 5 ap. Their Deepwood scouts had 156 ranged dmg and more range. Same for their eternal guard: more MA, MD, WS and leadership. Kel'Avar had all red line talents taht buffed those units, btw, and they were 7-9 ribbon units. As I said, the only units that actually hold up in their rooster are AG units (waywatchers, although not as strong as WE versions, at least get to decent SFO ranged damage and can do some damage). The problem is, they are so scarce in the campaign and have such low unit count that they underperform in the end. 40-50 units seem too low. I just tested against DE and the druchii counterparts totally butcher them. The leadership is also super low: Kel'Avar AG units get to 85 leadership on 9 ribbons. That's what empire swordmen get to with a good general.

I feel you may have an old version of the mod installed. Whole there a couple of small discrepancies between the WE units and their blood elf counterparts (such as bloodwood scounts having a lower missile attack than their WE counterparts) which I aim to address in the future, units like eternal guard have the *exact* same stats as their WE counterparts, sans the different passive. Amber guard, apart from the ranged hybrid, have a 50 unit size not 40.

The WE versions of eternal guards, scouts, etc, are WAAAYYYY better, and Amber Guard are too scarce (both in unit count and campaign availability) to justify having such weak units overall. F.e, endgame elf units like the black guard are literally BETTER at everything than sw and shield amber guards: more dmg, better stats, more units, more armor, better passives, easier to get in campaign and replenish. Executioners mop the ground with glaive amber guards. The only redeeming unit AK have are Bloodstag riders.
Atm, I find it pretty hard to play in SFO, as I've got to play every battle manually (due to their awfull AR, probably the worst AR in the game) and each manual battle feels like a struggle.

Although I appreciate the work you put on this, the mod is currently super unabalanced, in the underpowered way. AK troops just don't perfrom well AT ALL in SFO. Every other faction is way better. Even Amber Guard units become meh in the mid-end game due to their insane low unit count. 40 units are just way too low, and their stats, although decent, don't justifiy in no way their stats. Their archers are totally nerfed compared to other races. Bloodscouts, a tier 3 unit, fully maxed with tech tree, red line lord abilities and 9 ribbons does 45 (almost full non ap) damage. Thats basically maxed empire archers, which cost a ton less and have higher unit count. For an elf faction they have super low leaderhip, with front line units having around 70 leadership with 6 ribbons+.

Ah yep. I removed the caps I put on them but forgot to change those costs. I'll update later this week with other bug fixes.

Thanks for the update , i think you missed that the amber guard units dont have recruit and upkeep anymore ( 7 august patch notes , since they have a weird cap system )

I used akhnar with 77 att, now at 982 str with +20 against infantry against nehekhara warriors with 30 armor and 10 defense. Fully surrounded and attacking against the majority of the group he did 120 damage in 1 attack. Base damage is 453 and AP is 529.

Against what? Remember armour and resistances will lower it, also when he hits multiple targets the damage is split between each model (to a max of 8 models or something).

Amber Guard (Manticore Legion) seems to not have any buildings that upgrade limits. So its always 0/0.

Well I have the required mods, the Mixu unlocker, SFO things, and its crashing, so evidently there is something wrong. :o Could it be further incompatibility with SFO submods?
