btw, what was the fighter plane exp bug? just bomb cav over and over while encircled in south poland? let them free to replenish and repeat?

I noticed a weird effect with limited stock on. In MP the Germans get a clone of the basic wehr infanterie units x2 (I think they're not a true clone as the uniform is the color of the new unit.). They also get a stock of the original and the unmodified unit. Other nations don't get this issue/bonus. Thanks for all your modding btw, I know from doing 40k Armageddon excel files how long it can take to get right, and there are loads more units in this game.

I'm not sure it's consequential for human vs human matches as you can delete the extra stock, but it stops the infantry upgrade from being usable in a limited stock game vs the AI. Check it out just to see what I mean.

I appreciate the input, but I can't justify reducing all vanilla inf core slots. I suspect our play styles vary too much. The below link is a good reference for how to change the game data. If's fairly easy to do if you are familiar with Excel. The forum also provides good support it you have any questions.

I'd also would increased CORE cost of all aircrafts by 1.

These ones are just way too useful to be that cheap.

I have core slot issues in every mission. Even in vanilla. :)

I just that i think that 4 cores for heavy or mountain Infantry make it suboptimal to buy.
I better get rifle Infantry or a tank. Or even heavy artillery. It cost the same.

I'd rather have all vanilla infantry core slots reduced by 1 so at least basic infantry would becheaper to have than tanks or aircrafts.

Thanks for the feedback. The Cav change was to help out the AI. I still don't and assume most people still won't use them. The air defense was specifically to reduce the effect of a fighter exp exploit.

Do you know what Scenario you ran into core slot issues? I would be curious to know the infantry lineup you had.

Also, I've got another mod that adds a Military Police unit with reduced Core Slot cost. The MP units fits in well with these changes. It also adds a Sniper unit, but that's off topic ;) Thanks again.

And Cavalry: Air Defense +2? Eh? These are easy targets for aircrafts.
Cavalery can't hide.

It makes specialized infantry much less viable.

nicely done! im always bothered with how they treat infantry in the game. even though they went further with the attributes than they did in panzer corps 1, most of them were heroes-exclusive which made the gameplay pretty centered on getting op heroes instead of making each infantry unit unique. it was bad enough that infantries dont get much variety compared to other classes and yet they still made them almost indistinguishable bar the slight difference in stats.

Thanks! The goal was to create unique strategy for each of the main infantry classes. If you find any unintended exploits, please let me know.
