@Tivaaky1 This mod is outdated. Try "Splinter Colony Ver 3.4", the latest one.

Noticed a new bug since 3.4 went live. The Hyacinth Fleet has a name that displays as NAME_Hyacinth_Fleet, and when it colonizes the planets are called NAME_splinter_hyacinth_ulysses. It could be a conflict with the names file?

Otherwise the mod works well with the newest updates and it remains one of my favorite mods, thanks!

Thank you for checking into it, I'll see if discovering them through the event that occurs after a set period of time allows me to avoid the crash, and if so I'll play with the mod that way. Perhaps in time you'll find a solution, but even if you don't I did want to thank you for making a mod I have enjoyed a great deal, keep at it :)

@Tivaaky1 I confirmed your issue do happens. Execute "survey" console command on 2.1.2200, and the game crashes. (In vanilla, first contacts with previous unknown countries start.)
Unfortunately, I have no clue why this crash happens or how to evade it.

@Tivaaky1 Thank you for reporting. "Discovered by a science ship" can happen but quite rare, so I will try to reproduce it.

Perhaps I am alone with this issue and it is very possibly a mod conflict, but as soon as I discover the Splinter Colony via Science Ship, the game crashes to desktop.
