It's not an "issue", might as well remove North and South America tags.

Aboriginals did exist, Tonga had an empire. This is historical revisionism.

In the provinces there is still the dream religion. I wonder why Paradox Tinto didn't do it that way. This also simulates the Australian tribes. But I think why Paradox introduces nations is so that you can also play the tribes to create a parallel universe. But you are also right.

Paradox could make the tribes use grain or food instead of gold, and when they enter the feudal age, they use gold. For example, legality would then also change into republican tradition... when you change from kingdom to republic.

The standing army would then also be established with the feudalism before they use the mechanics like from Ck2 where tribes could only raise their army in war and while there was no war they could not.
