Doesnt work in current patch, unfortunately.
KawwaK 10 Jul @ 9:48am
Will it work on 1.6?
C0lin2000 7 Jul @ 5:31am
1.6?
Cleric_McManus 21 Jun @ 8:06am
@SteveZero Any update/fix for the fog bug mentioned by others? Being able to repair weapons and armor is huge, so hopefully you have the time to look into it.
Pvt. Conscriptovic 14 May @ 10:49pm
Mod appears to be broken. If I try and set the bills to be a bit more specific (under 50% hp or change the range or ingredients or quality) it give the "Nothing to repair" message.

If you make it super broad and allow everything, you can repair stuff but then it glitches and i get the usual fog/rock/broken screen bug
lunatic_TH 5 May @ 3:11pm
I have a horrible bug where when I do a repair the entire screen becomes covered in fog.
Sevrick 3 May @ 6:50pm
I got it not exacty a black screen it looks more like everything is hidden behind solid rock. It happen to me when I order a pawn to repair clothing. As soon as he put it on the table it did it.
a_person 13 Apr @ 4:13pm
im not getting any crashes or black screens however it refuses to repair half the vanilla items in the game, let alone modded ones. tho that might be due to my load order idk.
Stjopa_Bljad! 1 Apr @ 2:11am
I love the mod.
Sadly the mod keeps freezing my game after high percentage repairs (over 150% I think).
And the grey screen does also happen.
Farbott 24 Mar @ 3:30am
The 10 ticks I've noticed is mostly fabricors for some reason, normal humans can comprehend patching gear up without frying theirs (and your) CPU
sauce 11 Feb @ 9:22pm
@Jet_Mishemoto It's a garbage mod, I found Nano Repair Tech got the job done but without bugging out.
Jet_Mishemoto 11 Feb @ 9:09pm
Yep Im getting the10 jobs in 10 ticks bug, slowing the game down a lot.
Bluewave101 14 Jan @ 1:14pm
tks you for make mod
Sir James Brick 5 Jan @ 7:35am
@grimm4 does it work if u remove both out of the working range?
grimm4 5 Jan @ 7:20am
I think this mod is causing the grey screen for me too. It really doesn't like conduits or wall lights near it.
Sir James Brick 4 Jan @ 7:34pm
the mods give me the grey screen of death :(
Samael Gray 27 Dec, 2024 @ 2:20am
Mentioning the Fabricors having trouble working at the repair benches, provided logs in the discussion thread.
Ventus 27 Dec, 2024 @ 2:19am
USERS note, this mod by default is set to a threshold where "under this percentage of remaining items health, the item cannot be repaired" and you cannot remove this feature, you can only lower it to 12% (this could be very frustrating if you are looking for a mod that allows you to repair gear). Also, this repair bench is set at default to BURN through your resources attempting to repair long and high quality crafts. I watched a 15 crafter with 151% manipulation and 110% consciousness spend an entire in game YEAR trying to repair Masterwork Cataph Armor, burning enough plasteel and adv components to craft more than a dozen new armors (and the work time for high quality craft repairs will push a recently fed/full crafter into starvation, it takes that long). Lastly, there are most Setting RNGs to degrade the quality of your gear upon repair. So check settings before use, as you might not notice your crafters burning through precious materials working against this mods settings RNG.
drew454u 8 Dec, 2024 @ 4:42pm
great mod, It doesnt seem to like hidden power conduit beneath it though.
Gundyr Christopher 6 Dec, 2024 @ 8:11pm
Thanks for the quick reply, I'll take a look at the settings and mess around before reporting back. I did see someone else mention that but I hadn't launched the game again to try before you replied.

I also won't discount the possibility there's something else messing with the crafting chance, as I have other mods installed.
SteveZero  [author] 6 Dec, 2024 @ 8:07pm
@Rainoa - accessories are not repairable by design to allow for wider mod compatibility as opposed to requiring a patch for every mod out there that adds wearables.

@Gundyr - have you tried using the mod settings? Difficulty can be adjusted there. you can adjust the repair chance multiplier and quality degradation sliders to your liking.
Gundyr Christopher 6 Dec, 2024 @ 7:23pm
I feel like this mod could use another pass through. I have only my level 20 crafter repairing things but for every item he fixes he's wasting resources on three others and activily making items worse.
Rainoa 5 Dec, 2024 @ 8:16am
i have noticed some items without quality will be ignored not sure if its due to my current settings or a mod issue also does it things like turret packs? or other utility items get repair option?
qux 5 Dec, 2024 @ 7:39am
@Skyl3lazer can you make your mod visible the time we can unsuscribe please ?
The Bard of Hearts 9 Nov, 2024 @ 6:26pm
what would I have to do in order to get my modded items to be compatible with this? Is there a way?
SteveZero  [author] 8 Nov, 2024 @ 6:04pm
updated to 1.5, shoutout to Skyl3lazer for the fix :D.

tested it quickly for expected functionality in-game and didn't notice any game breaking issues.
Occupier 8 Aug, 2024 @ 11:07am
Pls men, Update 1.5
Scout Gaming 4 Jun, 2024 @ 9:12am
Can I repair my marriage with this mod?
Skyl3lazer 27 May, 2024 @ 7:17am
I submitted a PR for a 1.5 update on this, if the author doesn't accept it by next week I'll upload a temp mod.
GeneralTso 22 May, 2024 @ 2:59pm
this mod is absolutely essential. honestly devastating that it hasn't been updated to 1.5 or folded into the core game.
kanid99 19 May, 2024 @ 8:20am
Id pay a little money if someone brought this up to 1.5 and fixed some of the bugs.
Aquo67890 5 May, 2024 @ 10:07pm
Nano Repair Tech is a good alternative for this mod until it gets updated.
NikkiDarkMatter 21 Apr, 2024 @ 3:01pm
Currently not 1.5 compatible. Hopefully the dev is looking into it, but if not then a substitute will be needed.
RedPine 20 Apr, 2024 @ 2:51am
So far the closest substitute I've found is the Eccentric Tech - Spacer Furniture. It adds repair cabinets that automatically repair held items using the base material the target item is made out of, drawing from connected supply cabinets.
Marty in the multyvers 18 Apr, 2024 @ 7:38am
1.5?
Xeno [Ammo Bearer] 15 Apr, 2024 @ 7:55pm
when will it be updated to 1.5 ?
Ancalon 13 Apr, 2024 @ 11:39am
@Cat Lord, in my run not.
Cat Lord 11 Apr, 2024 @ 12:06pm
Hello, is that 1.5 compatible ?
Sentry coming up 9 Apr, 2024 @ 10:51am
Do you need a power focus chip to repair an integrator headset
Farbott 18 Mar, 2024 @ 11:32pm
Hope someone picks up the torch of this mod, by far the best option ive found for balance but im beginning to notice its own wear & tear building up.
Flamangos 10 Mar, 2024 @ 12:02am
This is the best repair mod because it uses the material the item is made of to repair it. Shame it's throwing errors for me :(
Dragonlord 2 Feb, 2024 @ 12:15pm
Needs an update i would advise against anyone using it right now. Seems to throw errors when you repair something and causes quite the lag.
sindri42 29 Jan, 2024 @ 9:54pm
Repair costs are a fraction of initial build costs, so you might not be able to fix something that doesn't have a recipe to draw costs from.

Does it work if you're above the threshold for free maintenance? 95% or whatever?
Farbott 29 Jan, 2024 @ 3:27am
Is eltex gear intended to not be repairable?
Morgan Freedman 10 Dec, 2023 @ 2:55pm
Doesn't seem to work with Vanilla Expanded backpacks and belts btw
ChickenCat 8 Dec, 2023 @ 11:00pm
Thank you so much for this mod!! So much better than always having to build stuff.
Xyvern 30 Nov, 2023 @ 8:09am
this would be wonderful if we could repair utility items
otherwise id rather just use the worse mod so i dont have to keep getting signal chips for the mechinators
