Can you make Thracian mercenaries helmet into Sacred Band helmet ? The Sacred Band in the game is using corinthian helmet, it's heavily inaccurate since at the start of the grand campaign, corinthian helmet is almost extinct.

Would it be possible to commission a small mod for barbarian invasion from you? I have Venmo but I can work with other cash apps. The proposed mod simply adding wolfhounds and chariot ballista to the Romano British unit Roster,campaign and custom battle.

Hey there,

first of all: I really like the improved roster and the recoulored skins. Great work :)

I think I've spotted a minor issue in your mod: Switching between the remaster colorset and the bright colorset appears to be disfunctional, altough the files for both versions exist.

And another pedantic note: I believe these arent Levy Hoplites (long spears, used by the diadochi instead of regular hoplites) but rather Milita Hoplites. And their UI card in turn is the one used by the germanic spear warband (the one without helmet), isn't it?

Really really enjoying this Carthage unit upgrade!
Carthage is by far my favourite faction, and i've always thought that their unit roster pre-Poeni was lacking.
The only think i'd criticise would be how early the archers come into play.
I'm currently close to finishing a very hard/very hard campaign and i've really only used the Miilitia, Scutarii and archers (with a general) to get this far.
I would suggest making the archers come after the slingers, just to make the early push a little more difficult.
Other that that, I really adore this mod! Thank you so much!

So take a legionary model and add the Poeni infantry skin over it essentially? That might work.. I'm a Punic fanboy and all I want is a heavy sword infantry unit to make their roster "complete" lol

@Porosus, I believe that is an issue with the cas file/skeletons which at present I don't have the software to edit. If it's like the original total war the weapon is built into the skeleton, you best option currently would be to use an existing sword unit and retexture the outfit.

I've done a lot of similar things as this mod, maybe you can help me figure out my latest challenge: I'm trying to make Poeni Infantry swordsmen instead of phalanx spearmen. I've edited EDU and feral, changed EMB but I can't seem to find the texture/model/whatever to get rid of the spear. Would you know how?

@dkendel, if you open up your mod and my mod you can compare the two files and add the required recruitment options, nothing else should overwrite. The export_descr_buildings includes carthage recruitment for Levy Hoplite, Carthaginian Hoplite, Carthaginian Archer, Numidian Cavalry and Scutarii. You will also need to remove the training of Town Militia for Carthage if you wish it to be the same. If it's an issue you may want to merge the files.

I love the mod but am wondering where I can find the files that were edited? So specifically, I like boosting a bunch of the buildings (more trade, more population growth, more happiness, and giving all road types to all cultures, etc.). This Mod unfortunately seems to overwrite my changes and changes the export_descr_buildings file back to the vanilla version (or at least it doesn't contain my changes). Is there a way to edit the export_descr_buildings file location for mods? I can't find where this would be located.

I feel like Carthage only needs the archers and nothing else, their roster is pretty well balanced with strengths and weaknesses. It's just weird they'd have archers on elephants but not on foot.

@SGZ***71 You need to create a new texture file and tell the game to read that file instead. It doesn't seem to like it if you just replace. I usually just call it "new_....." and it uses that pathway instead so long as the model_battle.txt file tells it to.

nice. How did you re skin the shields of sacred band ? I've tried to do similar by modding the .tga.dds files in data/models_unit/textures but nothing changes in game.
