@grandpa forklift : Any melee system will work as long as the hits can deal damage to objects. I recommended lago melee system because it was simple and efficient but it seems to have problems actually, haven't got the time to check it out yet, so go ahead with anything you want.
I was having a chat with the jbad dev about how to get True Breaching working on maps which use its vehicles (Lythium etc). He’s got an idea for how to search for the doors correctly: mind if I friend you and send over what he provided, for when you get a chance to work on this mod again?
Good news for me is that I found a shotgun (Project Infinite) which does the job for blasting open doors, which will definitely do for the time being :)
Had two other, hopefully small ideas, for when you have time to look at this mod again. First, a setting to have some % chance of unlocked (internal) doors to be open, as that provides a realistic separate CQB challenge. Second, a configurable delay on the module applying changes to doors, so an AI garrison waypoints have a chance to complete (and AI get into position) before the doors close/lock behind them.
Thanks again for this mod: works really well!
I can't give an ETA for future updates because before updating this mod I must first update my other ones, improve my level in modding, especially in multiplayer scripting, and learn how to make proper animations to add a decent kick to this mod. And also... I have a life to live :)
So, I have a lot of stuff to go through before being able to update this, but I'm working on it, bit by bit.

There are 2 solutions : take a more powerful shotgun, or use more powerful ammunitions in your shotgun.
Chevrotine and basic slugs are hardly effective at breaching doors, but there are other special ammunitions for shotguns that are more suitable for this. So check the ammo available for the shotgun you want to use and see what works. Explosive shells and breaching shells should work easily (if the mod you use features them).
The mod Universal Ammo System (either the complete or the lite version) features low explosive breaching shotgun shells (they are named EPB if I remember correctly) That's what we used in my team.
By default in this mod, shotguns blasts the doors open, no matter if you are on the push or the open side, and no matter where you aim on the door.
But some shotguns in some mods are less powerful than others, and so the mod considers them as a rifle. That means they use the rifle settings in the modules.
That means they can unlock the door but it won't necessarly open itself, you need to open it by hand. And depending on the way you set up the modules, you may need to take into account if you are on the push side of the door and to aim at the lock or at the hinges in order to have a significant effect. And you may need to shoot several cartridges too.
But i can't get Shotguns to work correctly, is there any way to get Shotguns to reliably open Doors?
@Valken Yes, there is a lockpicking set. You can get it in the arsenal, in right menu in the + tab.
Some users report not seeing it though, I'm not sure why. This issue will be fixed in further updates.
And how is the progress for the kicking?
I think the mod is very nice! though it's still a bit lacking *shrug*
Will you plan on adding some sort of breaching tools? i.e Dynamic hammer or 5.11 tools?
