Caos 14 Apr @ 10:47am
@SweetLew, this mod need a update :)
SweetLew 3 Mar @ 5:45am
The increased unit recruitment times ruins this mod. The AI cannot handle it. They start recruiting, stop recruiting to move army, decide not to recruit bc of "logic". If you could lay a "1 turn recruitment" mod over this and make all other changes stick, this would be the way to play DEI
farhianas2 3 Feb @ 10:16am
is the reforms matches 12 tpy??
eamonnmccauley 31 Jan @ 12:30pm
I'm playing with this Mod, (great, what I've always needed) but my agents don't travel as far as the armies. Only a 3rd or 4tr distance. Is this the mod or do I have a glitch?

I was expecting the agents to move as far or farther each turn.
Caos 25 Jan @ 5:08am
@damianvincent Thanks for your reply and your time, I will back to Rome 2 soon your module wll update :)
damianvincent  [author] 24 Jan @ 5:09pm
Yes it does, global variables are adjusted to keep new players from getting swamped with the increased recruitment times balancing out the previous recruitment rates via game time with the new 1 month cycles.
Caos 18 Jan @ 12:33pm
@damianvincent After more than a year without playing Rome 2 Total War, I notice that you are still active despite the experiences of life.

A big thank you to you and good luck, I will wait wisely that your mod is updated because it is a must have for me.

Does your mod also change the recruitment times to prevent the AI from recruiting too many armies in one turn? (I can’t remember anymore)
damianvincent  [author] 29 Dec, 2024 @ 2:19am
Thank you for the kind words Soviet Toaster, I've already begun looking into the code and will begin shortly updating the new elements and most likely rolling out a Rise of the Republic version as well. Stay tuned!
Soviet Toaster 27 Dec, 2024 @ 8:43pm
@damianvincent its awesome to hear that you'll be returning to development of your mods. Your contributions to the game are greatly appreciated. I'm sorry to hear that life has not been kind to your family and wish you and your family the best for the future. I hope I speak for all of the fans of your mods when I say that we've waited this long so we can continue to be patient until you can afford the time to spend on this project.
damianvincent  [author] 27 Dec, 2024 @ 12:39am
Sorry everyone, I've been on a bit of an extended hiatus, I have a wife and three children and these projects eat up a lot of time, and pay nothing, so between work, family life, and personal time, it's hard often to find enough time in the day to manage these mods, plus I've had to move recently due to a series of unfortunate events to an extended stay hotel which is pretty expensive, if anyone wants to help out, and to justify to my wife why I spend so much time with these mods, any donations to a PayPal i manage would be greatly appreciated, 100% not necessary only if you have a few extra bucks and want to help me weather a personal storm and justify the large amount of time these projects demand you can help through a PayPal i manage @williamlawrence07 I plan on picking these projects back up and will look into the Rise of the Republic requests
Skarecrow 20 Dec, 2024 @ 9:03pm
We need a Rise of The Republic mod with 12 turns per year... It does not take 8 YEARS to march an army across a place the size of North Carolina.... like wtf how has no one realized this, literally NO ONE. I might have to figure out how to do it myself at this point.
vlad-cybul 18 Sep, 2024 @ 3:43pm
will there be an update for the Rise of the Republic campaign (12 TPY)
Abaddon 1 Apr, 2024 @ 5:01am
any update??
pietrofracca03 2 Mar, 2024 @ 1:44am
Is this mod being updated for DEI 1.3.3? Will it affect also the Rise of the Republic campaign?
Soviet Toaster 7 Jan, 2024 @ 9:16am
@damianvincent Are you still working on an update or is the mod on hold indefinitely?
Leondas 22 Oct, 2023 @ 8:56pm
It's a shame to have this mod undeveloped now 1.3.3. is coming! this was the best sub-mod of all times
Paradoxorus 16 Jul, 2023 @ 2:19pm
Units take long to recruit, but ships still take 1 turn. Is this intended or an oversight?
Saigo 24 May, 2023 @ 9:37am
Your mod will delete all units from the Royal Scythia and Roxolani with the 1.3.2 update of DEI
Leondas 28 Apr, 2023 @ 7:09am
Any progress in the mod for 1.3.2?
Imperator_Romanorum 18 Apr, 2023 @ 8:06am
Also, maybe you can give some extra units for all starting factions, especially rome :)
DjDowny 17 Apr, 2023 @ 4:33pm
I can't tell if this mod is working or not. The turns are one month but buildings, recruitment, and technology times are all the same.
Terendelev 17 Apr, 2023 @ 12:11pm
Will there be an update for 1.3.2?
Imperator_Romanorum 17 Apr, 2023 @ 10:49am
I have a suggestion for that submod. Since all technologies are slowed down significantly you can give to each faction more starting technologies (for example an extra 3 technologies for all factions - rome should focus on military - egypt on economy - athens on navy + philosophy etc)

If you like you can give +2 to civilized factions and an extra to major powers. Also maybe a -1 to all germanic british factions.
MaxxoV 8 Apr, 2023 @ 8:20am
I put it 1st on top of the list and it works great for now.

Any updates on the upcoming version?
Umaril 3 Apr, 2023 @ 3:03pm
What is the Load order for this? or is it not useable atm and need a update before working? With the lates DEI version
marriage 2 Apr, 2023 @ 8:34am
hey how can i edit this mod to make reforms happen later?
Leondas 26 Mar, 2023 @ 4:39pm
Update please! 1.3.2 is here
Kerovanka 10 Mar, 2023 @ 8:08am

Marka 27 Feb, 2023 @ 8:05am
Looking foward to see updated version, great addition for any campaign!
damianvincent  [author] 24 Feb, 2023 @ 6:00pm
Sorry Everyone, been super busy with life, I'm working on an update to get this up to date with teh latest version as we speak, thank you for your patience, been super swamped but we'll have an updated version for you shortly!
Dazza420 14 Oct, 2022 @ 1:25pm
I cant enjoy this, all this really does is force you to click end turn for multiple turns in a row to be able to afford or do anything significant adding that to the waiting times of the ai turns makes this way too tedious to pay off
Ragnar 13 Oct, 2022 @ 1:11am
@viggiano, yes its also happening to me, that's why I've made a copy for DEI v.1.3, I would revert back to it for now till this mod is updated
viggiano_michael 12 Oct, 2022 @ 10:02pm
Is this mod currently working with latest DEI version? Only this mod and DEI enabled with this at the top of the load order and it crashes on launch
Gabelo01 6 Oct, 2022 @ 3:54pm
is there anyway to add Kams alternate economy to this, or use a patch. Ever since i used it i cannot go back to standard
Mad Nomad 24 Sep, 2022 @ 4:55am
i meant 12 and 6 months/turns
Mad Nomad 24 Sep, 2022 @ 4:55am
@damianvincent Hi,there.is it possible to extend the elections in rotr campaign to fit the 12tpy mod?like senators for 12years/turns and dictator for 6 Years/turns.i always liked to play with 12tpy and that would really round it up.
Ragnar 16 Sep, 2022 @ 3:17pm
Hello Damian, after the latest DEI update, this mod is causing the game to crash to desk top, not sure if anyone else is having this problem.
Jon 15 Sep, 2022 @ 12:35pm
This mod goes on the top of the load order before 12 Turns Per Year Dei GC Beta Patch, correct?
The Amazingly Randy 14 Sep, 2022 @ 3:20pm
Using DEI I just noticed that getting a level on any character or army means we get just 1 "perk" to choose from instead of the 3 without this mod. Is that intentional or an oversight?
jjpunk 8 Sep, 2022 @ 8:34am
Dunno if intentional but armies together with ships move very slow. Again, might be intentional but just wanted to post it incase it was overlooked with the other movement increases.
damianvincent  [author] 25 Aug, 2022 @ 2:53pm
@sireyn I'll be uploading a version that expands out RotrR to 12 turns per year shortly.
damianvincent  [author] 25 Aug, 2022 @ 10:44am
@jjpunk I agree with all your points as well. Like everything else its a process to build up. But I bumped it up a tad anyway, just to get a good average on getting across provinces. Build times on boats use the same standard that units do, which is according to their unit weight. So very light is 1 turn, light is 2, med 3, heavy 4, very heavy 6, super heavy 8.
jjpunk 25 Aug, 2022 @ 4:50am
I think a lot of people are being thrown off because I think Rome starts in winter. So the movement is really slow, especially if the province rolled for severe weather. I love the movement changes, perhaps just a tad more. Spies are definitely in need of a boost and boats. However I do think it is such a more nice game to have slow movement that gradually becomes better with better roads, provincial development and traits. I mean in the early days of republic a big deal was logistics which limited large scale movements. I like that I can't run around the peninsula until later. It also makes navies stronger.

BTW I can build boats quicker, taking only 1 turn. Is this a change or bug?
damianvincent  [author] 24 Aug, 2022 @ 3:05pm
No problem, you were not the only one who made that request, and after reviewing it more in depth myself I can see how that was a bit much, it's only accounting for one months worth of movement now, instead of the default DEI 3, so I feel it should be less than DEI default, however i wanted a good balance between a reduction, but at least being able to get across a province in a month, unless it's a huge one, in the desert or similar. I also bumped up spy movement points as well. Also consider, at the beginning, your people are very low level, and some of their traits might even reduce movement speed/points. However, as you level you'll increase, as well as their are upgrade paths that will provide more movement range as well.
damianvincent  [author] 24 Aug, 2022 @ 3:05pm
The AI often starts with rather high level people out the gate, say Phyrus of Epirus, and some people struggle with the fact he has more, given his higher level, as opposed to their level one just starting out people, but if I bump it up to much then by the time their characters are high level their moving far more than what could be feasible in one months time.
Paidas Demetriou 24 Aug, 2022 @ 1:35pm
Much better now, thanks alot for the response.
damianvincent  [author] 24 Aug, 2022 @ 12:43pm
I'm gonna be uploading a patch to increase movement points for units in a few, keep an eye out on the update...
Sireyn 24 Aug, 2022 @ 12:32am
Rise of the Republic is still at 4 TPY. All other campaigns appear correct.
