The weirder part is my ally have a truce with them, but I don't.
It is used by AI against enemy participants.
You should also get a notification when a secondary party leaves a war you're fighting in, like depicted in the screenshots.
It is save game compatible, so no worries!
Also, clarification: Starnet AI SHOULD work with this mod, but you won't get any extra acceptance modifiers for Separate Peace events.
The "acceptance" values for this mod are custom-made, so it will only work if you port the Starned values yourself into the events file.

Not sure it works for 2.8 because it relies on the espionage system for some triggers. It might cause some bugs.
Since this was released on May 16, after the 3.0 Espionage update has already been released, I would assume this.
