Hi! I just got back to playing Gates of Hell and also just discovered your awesome mod. I've been enjoying for hours but seem to notice that the range of anti aircraft guns when engaging bombers is too short. They wait too long until the bombers are able to drop their bombs before engaging. Is there a way for anti aircraft guns to prioritize engaging aircraft before ground units?

yeah I know about that issue:
I made in my mod some changes to the single player campaign (placing the player a bit further away from the enemy, so the player can spawn without the enemy directly shooting at him)
Since the developers updated the soviet soldier models, that might cause this problem.
To fix it, go into this folder:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\2514972920\resource
and delete the "map" folder. This should remove all changes of my mod to the campaign.

I think I have found a strange bug. When I have your mod active (and only your mod), all of the Russian infantry textures are missing, but only in the campaign, not conquest. It looks like I'm fighting the Blue Man Group :steamhappy: Test out with 'The Big Prize' mission.

Seems like it breaks with maCE V2 during spawn of enemies for some reason. Just letting you know, Idk if you have any interest in solving it. It just crashes

I just spawned an T-34-86 and an 85mm AAA and they both have an range of 350m for me. So they seem to work. Maybe an other mod that you have installed is messing with them?

The ZIS-53 85mm Cannons of the T-34-86's do not have increased ranges.

Why removing spotting.inc, makes the game crash? Even though you can delete the file just so you can use the vanilla spotting.inc file.
Totally agree with Wennfel. Long range fire needs a serious accuracy reduction, at least for man held weapons.

First of all great mod, for me its essencial for gameplay, but i think a little reduction on accuracy overall on longer ranges would be great, or at least reduce a little the range of the man held AT guns, but good mod.

The penetration values are scaled just like the ranges by around 1,75x. So it respecs vanilla.

The mod has a bug or something, it's the only mod I have installed and every time I want to play the campaign, the Soviet characters appear blue and deformed.

I just tested the mod ingame and everything is working fine. If you have got problems they are very likely incompatibilities with other mods.

@MaGlas The Range has increased, but the accuracy is too high to restore reality. I think we should reduce the accuracy while increasing the range, so as to balance, otherwise the unit will die too easily

Catgirl. thanks for all the work. It's the same as I suspected, but for me, I can't fix it, because I already load this mod the last. If I delete any of the mods I'm using, it will break the Conquest Again, I just can't finish one.... Oh well. I will see if the other mods get updated, and somehow things work again

i copied the the accuracy file from this mod, and put it into BFPV mod, and the ranges dont match up with what is said on this mod. Rifles are at 120 and pistols at 70..and lmgs are at 120 and AT rocket launchers for americans is 60 meters..

I have narrowed down the problem! It appears to be caused by the Better First Person View mod. The fix is also quite simple. Loading BFPV *before* this mod should alleviate any potential crashes

I have traced the error to correlating to this mod, but not being directly caused by this mod. Like the author said it works fine for him, but that's likely cause he isn't changing mods like I have been doing. I added this mod along many other, then started to refine the list, and something somewhere broke. I have no idea what caused the problem but after removing this specific mod it all goes back to normal

So no, the mod doesn't need to update. The users of this mod just need to fiddle with their load order and selection choices

weird, was there another update? because the mod suddenly crash the game again. It was working fine just few days ago. Patiently waiting for another fix

i dont think the mod is working anymore still, it still shows how far they can shoot but they can't really shoot that far, the AI kinda just, doesn't move at all, an example is the Hummel, it can shoot up to 350 but it can go up to 400+, but the AI doesn't move or shoot that far
