Hello all, I've mad a submod for this to incorporate it into Interactive World : Kenshi +
It adds new build options and makes these craftable on te IWK+ leather working bench.

Never explained so here you go: there are two options in the build menu, these are stationary. The travel carts can be bought from vendors.

How can I equip the cart? What ever I press it only opens it inventory and there isn't a way to drag it.

Perhaps you could add to the workshop page that there are four version, two versions are backpacks you buy from shops and two versions are really large chests.

Great mod! It would be nice that when you drop the cart, it becomes horizontal and not vertical, it seems to be grounded in the floor :)

Actually you can have the wheels turning. You just need a bone for the wheels in the character skeleton and animation track for stand, walk, jog and run. But adding a bone would also mean you have to redo ALL animations (or at least re-save the tracks) and body sliders.

But adding an extra bone to EVERY character, including beasts of burden, might burden the engine. IDK. Also doing all that effort just for the wheels to turn, which you would not look at after the first half an hour after getting the cart ever again, is futile. The risk-benefit-effort ratio is off-kilter.

I 'solved' this by making my wheels solid metal, so you do not have the spokes that break the illusion. You can easily imagine the wheels turning.

How do you access the top of the pull-cart storage box? It's so big that it's off the screen.

One of the downsides to playing a caravan game is research, cages for prisoners, and healing. Is it possible to make mods that either add these things to pack animals, or onto pack animal carts? Imagine having a pack animal with a housing/hospital pod on its back, to carry a coma recovery character. One imagine having a cage that is on the back of a pack animal, to transport maybe 2 - 4 prisoners/bounties/slaves. Or imagine a bull pulling a portable research station cart...

This would be PERFECT for a Pet Backpack. Please add one for pets. Also include a lantern pole.

All i see in the build menu are 2 carts. 1 empty, 1 full. I'm guessing these are the 'chest' storage versions. It isn't clear how you obtain the backpack version. These ones seem like they're a furniture item.

should make it to where it builds strength to pull the cart, if the cart is more heavy due to w/e you put in the cart... the slower you move... but with higher str. being built.. the faster its pulled

@Zayex That's probably because you are looking at the building storage crate version of the cart. If you read the description, there is one that functions as a backpack item and one that is a Storage box base building item. The one you want to put onto your character is the backpack one.

I see no prompt or icon to drag. What I see is the cart on the ground with only the option to open the inventory or dismantle. What am I doing wrong?

@BLAZE What do you mean exactly? You cannot select the cart icon and just drag it into your character's backpack slot? Try right-clicking? Not sure what you mean.

Yes I got potato setting + mod that makes the texture even more potatoes. Hmm lemme try to raise the setting :(

@Nate Dato Huh. It is working for me atm and it there texture is there and in the right place. Try messing with your texture settings? I know sometimes that some higher quality textures go invisible when the setting is too low.

Hi, the mod is nice but the Full-cart doesn't show up when I equip it, the Empty-Cart however did show up tho. Is the texture of the Full-Cart is missing or I just have some mod conflict?

A MUST HAVE! FIRST: it blends perfect with the kenshi vibe! There are a few funny quirks but it WORKS AS INTENDED (can make a funny tower when stacking 5-10 in the same area, the wheel isn't turning when trying to admire the landscape or when your squad's running around the desert/entering a town; when a char's trying to be sneaky with a huge cart!When picking a char that has the cart equipped, several times couldn't focus on the battle because was laughing like a lunatic while the cart was dangling about on the battlefield; all of these make me laugh, and enjoy the kenshi world even more) SECOND: could it possibly be made to be compatible with the vanilla animals (willing to use the cart instead of the deluxe backpack for dog/garru/bull), imagine this on a BLOODY BEAK THING or CRAB or a leviathan with a tiny cart, although seeing a tiny bonedog pup running around with this while holding an arm/leg might be even more funny(there goes snoopy with the cart full of hash and booze

Kenshi is throwing an error at startup with the latest update. I checked the mod manager and it's showing that it's dependent on your headgear shop mod.

Jokes aside, have you thought about having United Cities Slavers forcing their slaves to carry around resources like some Garru?
