If I recall correctly, these 3 AB+ bosses were locked behind the "Something wicked this way comes+!" achievement. Is this the case with this mod too?

I'm pretty sure Greed Mode is already updated in vanilla. At least I remember seeing a few Bumbinos and Baby Plums when playing.

@Sekuza you probably just haven't gotten the update yet. Like @infernalthing said you just need to manually update it. Most of the time when devs update their mod, it takes a long time for the update to roll out just because steam doesn't always check for updates every time you launch your game. I've found the best way to force a mod to update is to unsubscribe from the mod, launch your game without it, and then re-subscribe.

The issues you're mentioning were patched in the most recent update, hence why I announced that the mods are now compatible.

@Sekuza Maybe the Boss Rush Counter didn't update for you. Try deleting the mod to make the game re-download it. This is a bug that currently is very common and annoying.

Ah, seems like it's different each time. One run it was 9 waves, one run it was 11. I know in vanilla it's always 15.

This mod sort of works with the boss rush counter. Mine only had 9 waves instead of the 15 however. I'm not sure if that's a balance change or what though.

@kittenchilly thanks so much, and yes exactly. It calculates the wave based on the detection of what bosses show up, and how frequently. So currently since I haven't updated my mod yet, with this mod installed, new bosses will show up that my mod isn't accounting for, and because of that, the counter won't go up on a new wave. But once I update my mod now, I can detect if your mod is installed and account for the new bosses you're adding to the spawning tables.

Hey! I've gotten some requests to add support for this mod to Boss Rush Wave Counter. Any chance that you could add a 'main.lua' file to your mod containing this code?

Adding that code to your mod will allow Boss Rush Wave Counter to detect if your mod is active, and automatically enable support for your mod.

I also still stand by my opinion of no alt path bosses, what Chronstell said was right. They are too unique and some need a specific environment to function. Having them can lead to softlocks.

@Chronstell I actually tried spawning Wormwood in a room with no pits, he just instantly disappears. I bet the same would happen with Hornfel when there are no rails.

@eywright Red poop can be removed temporarily by any character just by shooting it. Holes made by Wormwood can only be invalidated by flight or filling them in which neither are guaranteed to be an option for you for every character. I also don't believe there's a single larger sized room that has a Wormwood in it which means the boss may cause problems if introduced into a massive room like the boss rush takes place in. Finally, Wormwood needs a hole to come out of in the beginning of the fight and I'm pretty certain not all boss rush rooms have holes in their layout which might be an issue that leads to unavoidable softlocks.

A super cool idea would be alt path bosses being included in the mausoleum 2 boss rush only. I have no idea if that's a thing that's even possible, but it would be a good compromise. You could even increase the rewards for the alt path boss rush if it ends up being way harder than the normal one.
