So do you have to start a new game to get the house in the game? Because i've searched the stables and i can't find the house.
ben 23 Apr, 2015 @ 12:37am
Sorry, I hadn't installed the mod in the launcher. Love the house!
Wolfterro [JSSF]  [author] 14 Apr, 2015 @ 2:16pm
@HadroN

You can find the house just outside of Whiterun, near the stables.
ben 14 Apr, 2015 @ 9:02am
I cannot find the house. Can anyone give me directions, or is there something I'm missing?
Fred 27 Feb, 2015 @ 10:17am
I have used this mod for quite a while now, the only niggle I have is my followers have to be summoned inside, after they are in the n no problems. One of my favourite player homes

One of my faves! Thx.
Hvitzer 5 May, 2014 @ 8:47pm
it looks great but it would be even better if you fixed the navmesh. If you're already working on that, then thank you for your hard work.

Every container in the house is a safe storage, barrels and sacks included.
Outside the house the only safe container is the Blacksmith's Chest.
Принцесса Резнов 3 May, 2014 @ 4:50pm
Can I throw my crap in the chests without fear of them being deleted?
venompcake 2 May, 2014 @ 5:54pm
This is just a sex joke waiting to happen.
Bryan Von Friently 2 May, 2014 @ 1:56pm
it looks pretty nice, sadly it just has 4 mannequins, if you could make more of them (between 10 and 20) for all the people like me who just HAVE to display alot of armor they like and not having to change it since there are too less, and add a child chamber and fix the navmesh, thanks in advance
Wolfterro [JSSF]  [author] 2 May, 2014 @ 12:30am
@Frydo360
NPC's can enter in the house (sometimes), no problem about that, but the navmesh on the stairs outside is the real problem. I can't make it work for the NPC's, they can't walk there. Without this "link", no NPC can enter in the house by themselves (i.e without following you), and I believe that's something bad if you want to move your spouse to this house.

The navmesh inside the house, just like the description says, it's working as expected, you can even summon an Atronach or a Dremora Lord and they will follow you around with no apparent problems.

HMM this was eaither just updated or I am awesome and got a follower in my house and he walked round with no trouble :) I managed to get the kajit from the thieves guild in my house, and i have snapshots to prove it :D

awesome mod thx for making it!

Nice mod. I wonder if it's possible to add a hanging dragon head on the wall, it would be pretty cool imo.

overkill with the mead or what...Na jokes
farq 29 Apr, 2014 @ 11:34pm
I like it, it looks nice inside and out. Fits in with the surroundings. Could you make a static version where all items can't be moved or picked up. That would be awesome and be able to move your spouse and kids in aswell

Just been running around for a while, figured out the issue with the two handed weapons was on my side, sorry!
Vorderkai 29 Apr, 2014 @ 4:09am
Ah, I apologize. I misread that. Thank you for answering this. ^.^ Lovely Mod.
Wolfterro [JSSF]  [author] 29 Apr, 2014 @ 12:43am
@Alexei There's no bookshelves (with triggers and stuff, to store the items) in this mod, only bookcases.
Vorderkai 28 Apr, 2014 @ 11:36pm
Hi, Just a simple question. Is the Unlimited Bookshelves Mod compatible with this Mod? I don't see a reason it wouldn't be, but I figured I'd ask just incase. It also looks amazing, put simply. Thanks for the help! ~Alexei
Wolfterro [JSSF]  [author] 28 Apr, 2014 @ 8:20pm
@Aqua Man Well, I've tested countless times to see if the Display Cases and the Weapon Racks are working properly, and I've not encountered this kind of glitch.

Even custom weapons added by mods are working fine, their position in the Weapon Rack and the Display Cases are correct.

See if you're having the same problem with other Display Cases and Weapon Racks in the vanilla houses or houses added by mods.
Yatzlyn 28 Apr, 2014 @ 7:53pm
Hey, me again. Discovered something - Not sure if it's isolated to just your mod or other people experience it too. Two handed weapons when placed in either a Display Case or Weapon Rack will angle in a horizontal way (Facing outwards, not across the object). They're both still working as they should other than this issue, just thought I'd post on the chance that you are unaware of this.
Wolfterro [JSSF]  [author] 28 Apr, 2014 @ 3:29pm
@sgtwinkler The Weapon Plaques have a small bug, they can't be facing a certain direction or else the weapon will float, away from the plaque. The same goes for the Weapon Racks, by the way.
Not a serious issue though, but I couldn't find a good wall to put them without causing any bugs, but I found a good place for the Weapon Racks to work properly.

The Mannequin goes the same way, they can't face north or else they refuse to work, I don't know what kind of sense does that make, but since this is a Bethesda game, bugs like that is something to be expected.
sgtwinkler 28 Apr, 2014 @ 3:14pm
Also, I know what you mean about bookshelves being a pain! Apart from being a little cluttery, linking all the refs is a major pain. However, I haven't had any problems with weapon plaques, if you can do mannequins, plaques should be easy :)
sgtwinkler 28 Apr, 2014 @ 3:13pm
Nice job! As a fellow modder who has done the same thing, I recommend reducing or removing any ambient lighting in the world cell view, just to follow up on what some other people have said.
DonPitote 28 Apr, 2014 @ 3:03pm
u should make a hotel and add npc to rooms
DuccShark 28 Apr, 2014 @ 10:31am
great mansion but personally i would prefer a darker stone floor and generally darker inside, still really nice though
Yatzlyn 28 Apr, 2014 @ 9:59am
@@╬ Wolfterro ╬ [JSSF] I have to agree with you. I prefer the use of bookcase instead of bookshelf, it makes things look much more tidy, I found with bookshelves that the books will constantly fall over and/or just be a pain to organise in a pleasing way (I'm very fussy on appearence)

I'm glad you liked the idea, it was literally the only fault with the house in my opinion, I'm sure this mod will get lots of attention sooner or later.

Once again, thankyou for such a beautiful house.

Wolfterro [JSSF]  [author] 28 Apr, 2014 @ 7:45am
@Aqua Man I've added because I really liked the idea. If not, they wouldn't be there.

I tried to put some Weapon Plaques before, but they were bugged so I decided to put some Display Cases instead. I made this house not only to be beautiful but to be extreme useful, it's not a bad thing to add some Weapon Racks to guard your weapons, your suggestion was really useful!

One thing for example that I won't add are the classic bookshelves, they're far too buggy to be implemented, that's why I preferred to use the Bookcase instead.
Yatzlyn 28 Apr, 2014 @ 7:22am
@╬ Wolfterro ╬ [JSSF] Don't worry about adding things you don't like / will require countless amounts of time to fix due to bugs, it's great as it is. I guess what I'm trying to say is keep it as your own, don't change to much based on other peoples wishes.

I've recommended this mod to a few friends too, I hope they will enjoy this just as much as I do :)
Wolfterro [JSSF]  [author] 27 Apr, 2014 @ 8:00pm
@Aqua Man Thanks friend!
About the Weapon Racks, I've always preferred the Display Cases, not only because they're more beautiful, but because they're simple to make and doesn't have any bugs.

I might make some Weapon Racks later though, since there's enough space available for them.
Yatzlyn 27 Apr, 2014 @ 7:32pm
Just subscribed to this mod and I have to say that the first impressions of this house are great. The house does not look out of place, fits in with the surrounding area. Outside the house is wonderful, everything you need (Even a chest for all your smithing materials)

The inside of the house is light and tidy, there are no dark dwelling corners, everything looks pleasing, there are plenty of books (Which is good, I can spend most of my time on ES reading the books) along with plenty of storage space of all kinds, however my there is one draw back, I couldn't seem to find any weapon racks? That's not a huge loss though the 4 mannequins and plenty of display cases provide more than enough room (If you trust them, which I guess I'll be doing)

All in all this is a great house, thank you Wolfterro, and please keep working and tweaking this mod if you can, I'd love to see what else could be done.
Wolfterro [JSSF]  [author] 27 Apr, 2014 @ 11:34am
@copley28 I've checked the mannequins and I've fixed a little navmesh problem under their feet. They should not wander anymore when you enter the house, this MAY fix the strange poses, but I don't have any confirmation yet, as far as I've tested.

Anyway, this should not be a serious problem, but if someone doesn't feel comfortable on putting any armor on the mannequin, afraid of losing it, I recommend to use a chest instead.

About the location, the house is on the frontier of WhiterunExterior with the Wilderness, but it should not be a problem to the players, there's no random events in that area (as far as I've checked). The only dangerous location next to this house is the Western Watchtower, sometimes it may spawn a dragon there, but still, there's a good distance between the tower and the house, the dragon only spawns if you approach the tower.
copley28 27 Apr, 2014 @ 10:05am
before anyone has any problems in this area, can you check the mannequins. one of the screenshots showed a different stance... and screenshot or not... mannequins are known to have problems from time to time...

it is a nice little home near one of my favorite cities

i am not too fond of the location.... your right near a hotspot (high probability of random events) no guards nearby to help in conflicts. (not normally a problem for players, but can be deadly to followers and spouses. )
