Did you remove the Pleku airbase fob? It seems to be gone currently. Or something I did screwed it up which is entirely possible. maybe add in the australian and korean troops to recruit?

Okay I made some changes

-The HQ radio is in this version now, so you can use it to spawn DMP missions,
-The spawn radius for hostile AI while players ride in a helicopter is increased.

For SOG AI it conflicts with the SOG advanced revive module from the DLC, the module that allows you to withstand / crawl around. For SOG AI to work that module has to be removed.

I have an unlisted version that has that module removed, people were requesting a version that was regular ACE. With this version you can select the regular ACE or the no medical ACE, either is fine, SOG AI works with this version.

If you were planning on any additions to the scenario or extra variants, SOG AI really made having AI teammates a crutch more than a micromanagement nightmare. I tried enabling it, but when using the praire fire hand gesture wheel (tab) it doesn't do anything and the SOG AI menu (T) states SOG AI is not initialized, so i'm not sure if it needs to be enabled as a module in the mission editor.

Thank you for your reply, it may be that i'm having difficulty due to being a single person as opposed to a bigger group which would probably be more ideal for this type of mission. How big are these groups of trackers you mentioned? I have on occassion seen small groups of maybe 2-4 units patrolling the jungle, but the ones i were the most puzzled by were the large groups of 15-30 units just out in the middle of nowhere in a big clump of squads aimlessly milling about.

As i don't know what their purpose is i don't know if their use of vehicles should be increased, but i did not find any bases or intel or anything else that was in the area where they were patrolling. So as for vehicles maybe they should have a bicycle mule or two or a supply truck if they're meant to be moving supplies through the jungle.

Regardless of the difficulty of playing this single player, i'll keep trying and let you know if i find any other oddities, thanks again for taking the time and making this.

I would recommend, the patrol tasks, wiretaps (this increases periodic map intel reports), sabotage, and destroy tasks. Most of them are great except for the CSAR tasks which has a habit of spawning the extraction point in hostile territory.

With how this mission works its best to tell the task generator to search for a task from map marker and not distance from player. It will still work either way, I just prefer the map marker option.

Yeah the AI cannot revive you, but you could do it with a mod like ROS AI, but I am not sure if mods will cause an issue with the SOG DLC healing module.

What the AI use depends on the AI commander, they pick what units to deploy. I will go in and set them to favor more vehicles.

For the intel, it will only drop from Alive units and not trackers. So only the AI deployed from a hostile base will have intel, they usually garrison the base / patrol around the area / go out and look for you when you make noise.

This version is older than the Unsung version I made, so the HQ radio is not in this version of the map, but you can still use the Alive mod to spawn in tasks for yourself. The Alive tasks are available in all versions of the scenarios.

I just tried playing this in as a single person with AI, do they attempt to revive eventually or do you need human teammates for that? Also i've been moving about a bit, and despite finding very large clusters of VC (15-30) i have yet to come across a single vehicle or emplacement other than the US vehicles i call in.
Also despite gunning down a good chunk of VC i have been unable to find any intel of any kind, it doesn't spawn next to them, so i am unsure how to proceed.
The Unsung variant you have released had a radio bunker where i could request missions, but for some reason it's not included in this mod, at least not at the default spawn of FOB 1 Phu Bai Other than that the helicopters and support are really well implemented.

Very good scenario, thank you for your work. I tried a couple from your serie and can see they are all different so everybody can find something. I tested them om dedicated server without headless client. Good performance.

This should work in local hosting, but I am not sure how the performance will be for you, My other versions have a specific version that has lower spawns which should be better.

When adding a new helicopter the default item that would let you access it is the vanilla ARMA 3 map item. If you have for example the new SOG map item it wont work since it wont recognize it, on my end I just changed the required items for all the default heli support to radios.

So you can either have a the default vanilla map equipped or change the required item to spawn it.

With the spawn thing, I need to make an adjustment to all the maps to get SOG AI working on it, but as for now you only have access to the flagpole spawn list.

And the very last question i got for you my good sir, How does one add the new units like the anzacs and the koreans to the recruitable list? I also tried adding a helicopter with zeus and adding the module to it, but still they didnt pop up in the support menu

No problem any time. The intel folders will be next to the dead body, Alive uses the default looking ARMA 3 top secret folder. Interacting with it with ACE was always the best way to read it, some times it would be stuck under their guns or what ever.

For Zeus, I have a slot setup to have Zeus access, and you can play while Zeus no problem. The slot should be Chief SOG if I have not renamed it to Zeus.

Im guessing the folder is lying next to the corpses of dead soldiers, not in the inventory. Also is there anyway for the host to use zeus while playing or does it have to be assigned to the specific zeus slot? Sorry i got a bunch of questions for you.

With the intel the main way of getting it is from enemy soldiers, I have Alive set up that soldiers will have the chance of dropping a brown intel folder. You can head up to that folder and either scroll wheel read it, or ACE inter act with it and read it.

When you do that the map will open up and show you a bunch of nearby hostile installations. With the AI helicopters, that is I problem I get too sometimes with Simplex Support.

It either fixes itself between play sessions or we have someone place down a new helicopter using Zeus. Zeus is able to assign the Simplex Support module to any spawned helicopter, which you will then be able to call anytime.

So I broke down and started using ACE For this mod, as the one without ace doesnt seem to work, its not a problem though im learning ace nicely. I am wondering about a couple of features, 1 As far as intel goes, how do you collect it? is there an option to collect it through ace or is it a physical document in the inventory? also one of the helicopters went missing and will not respond to commands any way to reset it?

I can make a version that does not use any ACE but that will stop Simplex Services from working.
IF you are worried about ACE medical this version does not use ACE medical, only regular vanilla medical on this version of the map.

You have to host a server to be able to play, you can do this through the server browser. You can host a server and select either online or local.

Yeah the group I play with prefer not using unsung. It has a whole lot more stuff than prairie fire but the quality is not on par with it, and even just in unsung itself it wildly varies.

I test hosted this mission by myself earlier today and it worked fine so I was planning on hosting it for me and my friends later on. but now for some reason it just keeps crashing when it starts. I can't even make it the 3 seconds in to spawn. any ideas?

Yeah Ace_Light will work fine with Simplex, it will just keep on giving the version warning but it is fine.

So once inside the helicopter you have to use regular ACE interact and not ACE self interact. When you do that you get the option to talk directly to the helicopter you are on board, instead of going through the entire list again.

Awesome mod so far! Great variety of missions. Question, is there a way use the kingbees at FOB1 for air transport to the AO? They have AI pilots, I boarded up with my men and could not figure out how to interact with the pilot to tell him where to go. I am aware I can call a slick using ace and simplex, just wondered if I'm missing something.

I notice that happening sometimes when my PC is under load too, but after waiting a bit it generates it for me. The script generates the list of units you can recruit, so if it still doing that you will see a blank menu
