I'm starting to get motivation again, I'll definitely consider some of the ideas thrown around, definitely the antihusk mechanite, I'm also considering adding bionic augmentations to the mod, the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh...

Maybe there could be advanced versions of the mechanites? like you could upgrade them to make better strains, but its very costly? i don't know, merely throwing an idea around.

I love to hear that haha, the idea to add more is definitely open I just haven't had the time to try and think up unique strains but I'm sure eventually I'll get hit with a wave of motivation and think of something.

In the future will there be more kinds of mechanites or just these ones period? I'd love to see how mod will go, but if this is it, i can personally say that me and the server we run this mod on enjoy it, Specially when we're goofing off and we want to see how much opium someone can consume before they go down or just want to see how much ethanol someone can chug before they actually need help from the organ damage, Either way, amazing mod and you are an amazing person for allowing dumb shits like us to test the limits of these things.

@ErVy03 trollblood requires 15, this was a bit of an oversight and I should've put how many it takes to craft. It is not deadly to use any combination of the mechanites so you'll be safe if you have all 3

How much do i need them to craft trollblood? Ive got 5 from station and i just cant craft it in the medical fabricator and is it really deadly to use these 3 on myself?

Definitely add a little snippet explaining that it takes a moment for the meds to kick in once you've been injected. Also, you should post some pictures of the drugs/affliction descriptions from in-game, so people pay more attention to this mod.

Glad ya like it, and yeah when I first tried to make trollblood it didn't actually heal burns so I had to specifically make it heal the burn injury but that is a good idea for a weakness to it. I've considered something along those lines of a pressure drug but figured I'd just get these three out the door, I know mechanite forge had 2 other minor temporary mechanites so I may look into making those a thing and maybe even luciferium

I love this idea! I also play Rimworld and enjoy mods like this. Personally, the easiest balance for this is rarity/pricing.

If you had to balance the actual game play of it, maybe reduce elemental resistances based on the affliction. Like radiation for Trollblood (the fast regen becomes extra susceptible to dna damage, it can repair once you're away from rads and maybe took some meds). Or simply being on fire stops regen, like fantasy trolls.

If you plan on using mods that add survival mechanics, I'd definitely make them get hungrier faster. Just like Rimworld. :)

Bonus idea: Have a drug that prevents pressure damage at the shallower depths.
