Item Exception: "BaroTraumatic Nightmare" depends on a package with name or ID "2518816103" that is not currently installed.
I am going to have a stroke.
We were playing campaign with regular barotraumatic, but it wasn't traumatic enough.
Will swapping barotraumatic with it nightmare version corrupt our campaign?

Help. I can't install this mod. Maybe barotravmatic nightmare should have some kind of dependency, but it doesn't work with the barotravmatic mod.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but am I correct in understanding that I can safely disable the standard version of Barotraumatic and replace it with the Nightmare version, and vice versa, at any time without any problems?

Yeah I've tried this mod for months and while it spawns a bigger wave, enemies are still coming in just waves, maybe I have like 3-4 per mission wich is just "meh" since missions last for 30 minutes or so...

either its just insanely easy or doesnt work because im just going through missions at 34% difficulty and maybe seeing some baby latchers or something was hoping for just a constant onslaught but doesnt seem to work properly

It doesn't work at all, even with no other mods activated, there are no enemy's spawning.
even with creatures pack, nightmare turns red. I lost all hope. i worked like 75 hours on a ship, perfectly balanced for nightmare. it worked before, went pack a couple of saves and mods but yea. even with no mods other then nightmare its not working.

Hey, uhm, an issue i have is that for the "BaroTraumatic-Nightmare" mod to work, i need "Barotraumatic creatures pack" aktivated. But for that to happen i need "Baro Traumatic" aktivated, but that does not work, when i apply everything, "Baro traumatic" just hops back into the disabled folder and turns red. An Error message tells me to load "Barotraumatic" first, but that does not work.
Do you maybe have any idea how i coul fix that?

Yeah but running it with Lua enabled seems to ramp *down* the spawn rates, similar to something from Vanilla or standard Barotraumatic. I want my crew to be punished for their hubris not taken to weenie hut juniors

Any chance this will ever be compatible with Lua? I only ask because me and my crew usually play with Soundproof Walls an other Lua dependent mods. An having those mods running alongside Nightmare would be awesome!

We're now playing at 3rd location +- 46 difficulty and noone in abyss except for some abyssal crawlers/trashers. Once we've interupted an abyssal moloch and creature looking like endworm used to (wery old model). But it wasn't any hard to beat. I guess abyss monsters should be baffed in sub damage and in BT nightmare there should be much more of them.

It starts to be TRAUMATIC at 40%+ difficulty.

But still no monsters in abyss, it's hillarious that going through abyss is less dangerous, lmao. Only monsters is abyss caves are spawning, but they're not dangerous for sub. Mb something with our modlist? We've got dynamic europa.

The point I realized this mod wasn't misnamed was when I got slapped by 4 hammerhead matriarchs in area four, only to sink down into a Carybdis that was just vibing there. Literally sat there watching me hit the bottom like "Sup dude. Bad day?" Never seen one sit still before.

it "kinda" works . . . the only thing that changes is that to the 2-3 crawlers in 1 mission, there will be like 4-5 small worms.
A friend of mine tested it, and it works for him.
could it be possible that i need Lua installed?

does Barotraumatic need to be installed? Because this is the only mod of this kind in my mod list and it does not work. :steamsad:
I even disabled all mods in my mod list, and only enabled "Barotraumatic Nightmare" and its not working.

Without normal Barotraumatic installed i get a crash error that says advanced headset png missing and with it installed the advanced headsets have no image

@ook DO YOU REALLY COMPLAIN ABOUT IT? BT Nightmare was made to give you as many creatures, as it can, there's no way it's possible to play it normally without suffering. Thanks alot mod devs for update.

@draconis it's not the issue of it being "mean" it's just kind of immersive breaking, i like difficulty increasing mods, but this just wasnt what i was looking for, so im looking elsewhere. if 10 hammerhead+ sized creatures constantly surrounding your sub and smothering your sightlines is your cup of tea then go ahead
