That said, I am producing a new version using modular engines and a complete design overhaul from the ground up, which should hopefully make it a bit faster. So far it is just a hull, with 2 modular engines, and a fuel tank, so I can't say yet how much faster it will be. I am definitely aiming to make it faster than my previous Islander 1, 2 and 3 boats. Keep watching the collection and it should be there at some point.
In the meantime, if you want a bit more speed out of this version, then disengage the Eco Gear which is on by default. This will let the engine RPS go higher and you will go a bit faster, but with increased fuel burn.
