Your description does not mention a butchery recipe to make sugar more quickly. However, your mod content does.
MakeSurgaryJuice has <defName>COMIGO_MakeSugarcane_Butchery</defName>. Sugarcane's description states <description>Gathered sugarcane, ready to further processing at butcher table or crushing spot. Not particularly nutritious on its own.</description>. But no recipe exists on the butcher table, as nowhere in your XML or Parents do you assign it to the butchery table. Is this intentional? As mentioned in literally the first comment, makes no sense that the only way to get sugar is from the crushing spot.
this [github.com] is a quick fix. but it feals raw.
i can't code, or create patches.xml or anything like it so i changed your files directly. sorry for violating your work.
Tho it does look ugly.
And about myself, I'm pretty content about the current state of leathers and cotton in-game. Maybe not that much about cotton. I doubt the reason to make mods for them; adding production chains there will impair balance, especially for tribes, even more for nomadic ones. Also tanning is more tricky technically.
I may or may not look into Grains and Brewing. I don't like the brewing part (useless bloat), but barley is barley, it is good to have those grains that do not require high fertility. Maybe I'll just a barley plant to the mod itself lol.
Couple remarks:
- +1 to the request to patch for Grains and Brewing. It's a very cool mod, worth it.
- I'm a bit miffed to have a high tech colony and still beating the sugar cane manually (no innuendo). Even nowadays in many places like SE Asia we have mechanical/automatised sugarcane extractor. You can see them on the street and buy the juice just as you'd buy a soda. Feel free to ask if you can't find a model ;)
Last and not least, now that you fixed this inaccuracy, how do you feel about cotton and leather ^^
— Quernstones' description and texture changed to depict an actual querntone.
— Quernstone's efficiency boosted from 75% to 100%.
— Any flour recipes now accept rice, corn, and wheat. Previously they supported wheat exclusively.
