i think something like this for ttt2 would be cool, like instead of holstered, crowbar, and magneto stick you can like swap between holstered, fists, and like carrying hands in the same item

I tried to keep non-functional gestures out of the mod due to how animations can't simply be sourced as raw files, they have to be compiled in with the weapon model. This would mean compiling a lot of gestures and making a UI for them, on top of that. If the surrender had a functional gameplay element or there were a way to just run the animation without doing it from the weapon model I would be inclined to revisit it.

If this addon is still being updated it would be nice if some features from the Advanced Hands addon put in this one. Like surrendering and stuff.

It works in sandbox, but pocket features aren't available because those rely on DarkRP's inventory implementation. Door locking should work, but ownership may not.

I believe there should be localization strings in the addon, and it should auto-detect them if a file is present for them -- if you would like to coordinate a proper translation (credited) add me and we can figure that out.

By default m1 & m2 (as well as R) are correct buttons but you have to be in the correct gamemode for certain features to function. You should always be able to hit reload once and begin punching.

I spent a few minutes testing things out and it doesn't happen anymore after climbing stuff.
I'll inform you if it ever happens again which I hope it doesn't.

@Kyririn I just pushed a fix for this which should hopefully solve any animation weirdness, let me know if it happens again for you. (Although if it does I'll probably need a lot more details, I couldn't get it to happen.)

@Kyririn I'll look into it some time today; maybe I can fix it by changing some model properties and recompiling it. Although, I have weird conflicts and viewmodel problems with Mantle + Wallrun and Simple Third Person when I hit a wall head-on even without having Awesome Hands equipped / in my hotbar.

the addon seems to have an issue with with the addon "Mantle + Wallrun" as after climbing a wall or anything, the arms stay in view and have a weird animation to them although it can be fixed by pressing left click to reset the arms.

@Chansuln dun Effundensque I just pushed a fix for this, it puts it further down the hotbar which can be a pain but seems to be the only way to avoid the problem. If this gets to be an issue the holster mod linked above or whatever you have bound to lastinv can make it easy to switch back to it.

Sandbox, HL2 Default Hud, Fast Weapon Switch works normal if i already selected the crowbar only if i try to select it by the weapon selector itself.

@Chansuln dun Effundensque I can look into it, are you using fast weapon switch? Do you have a custom HUD? Are you playing singleplayer or multiplayer? Which gamemodes were you using it with?

Dude this addon produces a strange effect with the default crowbar, it seems disrupt the crowbar while selecting it. it still works but in the menu the crowbar seems inexistant.

An additional convar to disable certain features like shoving/fists could also be useful, but the addon's already more useful than most "hands" addons as it is.

I do agree a more Sandbox-oriented version of the SWEP could be useful and not overload the DarkRP one with code it doesn't use outside of DarkRP. I like what's done so far.

I can look into adding a limited key functionality in sandbox. From what I've seen, other implementations of the pocket in sandbox mode actually ship a stripped down version of the DarkRP codebase. If there were another inventory addon people liked I could look into integrating with it, such as GWS Inventory, which I don't use but I could see what I could do.
